I don't know what the title of this video is trying to imply. This video does NOT show laryngeal cancer/throat cancer. My condolences to the family if this gentleman did pass away but it you did not post the video demonstrating throat cancer. The pattern that I see is presbylarynx or bowing/atrophy of the vocal cords. I am an ENT who works with cancer patients frequently.
BrianNelson123-Do you have cancer yourself? How are you now? Do you have a video of yourself on youtube? I'm trying to learn as much about cancer as I can.
I am Brian's wife and I do not have cancer. Read the book "Beating Cancer With Nutrition" by Patrick Quillin. Patrick was the director of nutrition for Cancer Centers of America for 10 years. His book is very informative about different types of cancer as well as how nutrition will affect your longevity. Brian was given up to 1 year to live when he was diagnosed with cancer
We read this book and implemented most of the principals. I think that is why he lived nearly 5 years.
let't hope for the best and that old man seems to be a good man and his voice cord also seems to be in a good condition. hopefully his voice come back to normal. It probably a reason of any one small thracic cavity problem.
Do you know if they've diagnosed you with spasmodic dysphonia? The injection in your larynx might have been Botox, which is sometimes temporarily successful with certain types of spasmodic dysphonia.
I have also lost my voice similar to yours, Im 25, I started to feel trouble speaking when I was 20. Now I even feel pain in throat when i speak. Is this symptom of throat cancer?
I have the exact same problem T_T.. im 15 now.. about to turn 16 this july.. and i started having the difficulty of speaking loud at the age of between 10 - 11.. i hope someone will respond on what to do and what kind of doctor do i need to see..
Thanks. I got my voice fixed with a needle infusion to my vocal folds. See my latest videos. It doesn' last forever though. My brain cancer stereotactic radiosurgery worked. They are using the vieo and my website at MD Anderson Cancer center for training. My tumor is smaller. March 30, 2009 I get one of 10 radiations on the tumor of my back. L-2. 80-90% success ratio. Please pray for my blessings there. Brian Nelson Houston. TX. God Bless you..
She is looking at a camera down my noseinto my throat. My TMJ prevented her from using the camera down my mouth. . It is my voice box. Yes your vocal folds control your voice. It is awesome. They are supposed to close down at each breath but mine dont; So they injected me wtih a fluid throught the neck. Brian Nelson
my cousin lost her voice out of nowhere and shes 26 and her voice is so airy u cant even understand what she is saying and so she has 2 write everything down for people 2 kno what she is trying 2 say. im a choir instructor and every year i sho my students a video like this what it does when u swallow and eat and they say its gross but it actually very amazing.
There is hope. My doctor injected a fluid into my vocal folds and my voice came back. She can call me Brian Nelson 713-467-3025. Listen to my videos. of resent. Briannelson123 youtube user.
I need an ent polyph on inbetween vocals cords it has a string and the doctor said he cut it far back Its been fifteen years and my throat is horse a little and theres pain in the throat area voice is cracking and the infections might come soo what is a person to do with no ent in town? go to the er and see if I can get a referral?
for those immature people commenting about what this "may look like", what are you even doing watching these videos??? clearly you have no interest in the laryngeal vocal folds. This is mainly for professionals and students to see examples. So go grow up and watch something else more your level
Thanks for your interest. I saw the specialist yesterday. He did some different tests recording them on a computer and did the same camera check with tube down through my nose to view the vocal cords. He took the conservative approach of giving me voice exercises to strengthen the cords. This doctors office is loaded with accolades from famous and important people & dozens of recognitions for his expertise over the years. He also had a Mensa Plaque.I will post any changes here. Brian 713-467-3025.

@mali75851 Have you gone to an ENT? I suggest speaking to a specialist. There could be another reason why your voice sounds similar to Mr. Nelson.

wat was da white stuff in between'
miafreaf301 2 years ago
your vocal chords are a mucus membrane, the white stuff is secretion from the membrane and is actually produced when your using your chords right

That's pretty cool stuff man. Seeing how your voice works and all. Good luck with your cancer and voice!
