I can still remember when I bought Ozzy's "No rest for the wicked album" (1988). I was really excited at the time, because Ozzy had hired this New guitarist, Zakk Wylde....( I Thought )> Jake E Lee was an Awesome guitar player, who could replace him ?.... So a rhythm guru like John Connoly would help me get that brutal, abrasive heavy rhythm style I love. Melodies are good but even better when served up with the most vicious right hand rhythm approach that can be put out there. Anyone that's seen 7Dust live knows they have a right hand brutal rhythm clinic every night at every show. I love toise guys-they should tour with Alter Bridge-i'd be on Cloud 9. Dark New Day was great too-Clint Lowery and Brett Hestla made a great team. Clint's great too.

I wish every new guitar player could see this. Even a dude who plats like Zakk had to learn somewhere. Thanks Tremonti's for making this happen-the First Fanily of Rock-IMO. Fret 12 is the best-I hope 7Dusts guys can get a guitar DVD out. John Connolly is such an underated player, and has a special approach to guitar starting out as adrummer and being in a band with arguably the BEST drummer out there today. John's rhythmic approach would benefit me greatly I'm more melodic player like Clint.
