I loved this show; however, I couldn't stand the way Joan screwed up every single relationship she was involved in good or bad. She had some really good men in her life but she always managed to mess things up one way or another. Although Ellis was the original boyfriend if she wanted to start a new relationship with Brock that would be fine but of course it won't matter. She can't keep a relationship regardless.
