  • This exactly what its like to work in our call centers. It is a horrible place.

  • TOO FUNNY! This is exactly how they upper management thinks. I can tell you stories as someone who knows first hand how things work there. I am not a call center person or union employee, I know what really happens.

    They care about themselves, nobody else and if HR would allow it, they'd fire anyone who did not make their quota in the first month even if the training and support were crappy, which it is most of the time."Your phone and PC don't work?" TOO BAD, make the sales!!!

  • I'm too young to be working for a telecommunications company, but there is a teacher in my school who is exactly like this (her voice even sounds similar, but less robotic), so I know how people working for such a company feel.

  • LOL so funny and so true. I'm an RSC for the big T and, to a lesser extent in my store, tihs is pretty much how it goes. Except they broadcast it to the entire team in an email and CC the ARSM on it. Pretty ass**** move if you ask me.

  • its so sad but true, i work for this company and we get so much pressure to meet a good criteria and if customers are not satisfy with our surveys we get written up getting closer and closer to losing our job... sad but true in this economy and a familly i have no choice

  • This is sooooooooooooooo hilarious because it is so true. My company expects to be no 1 in customer service but we are held responible for their mess up and when the company messes up the customer's acct. they rate us on how very satisfied the customer is but very if a customer has to call in how will they ever be very satisfied maybe satisfied but not very satisfied

  • and we get no pts when they are just satisfied they have to be completely vey very very satisfied but they are still upset with what they have to go thru. This needs to be sent to the director of our particlur department.

  • I also work for this Co. Its so sad and at the same time very true. I feel for all of us if this would do one thing. Let the company see that treating their employees like this has brung all the hate and people have said terrible things about the managers the union reps. When I started reading I thought How funny a great way to vent. But think about the people that you have verbaly said their names. Your treating them like you and myself are being treated. But put it for the world to see.

    luckily my TACRF!Ts are always 90%+ but this is what I DON'T GET.

    As a STS'er if I get a very sat all the way across..... and the issue was OUT OF SCOPE and I have no choice but to refer them to that Sprt+ rip off and they answer very sat to me.... but agent did NOT resolve issue(cause it was out of scope) I still get DINGED 30% percent!!!!.

    Shouldn't I get like 110% for getting a very sat on a broken PC and telling them to go pay $130 to some fools.

    VP's are paid on CEE here at AT&T......these surveys are BS and everyone knows it.

  • The TACR process is a way to take away your bonus and fire all of you. I am a manager in Rock Island, IL and I can tell you that you need to get our asap. IF not they are teaching us to get rid of all reps so we can fill your seat with a $8 an hour employee. Sorry! Julene Baldwin our GM says that's the way it is, she has Scott Kepner, Ron Kline, doing her dirty work why she sits in Wi scared to face reality in Rock Island. Sorry reps but we will be firing all of you soon, especially if u r paid!

  • ihateatt2 i do not believe you are a manager. Remember the cobc folks disbarging your own company is enough to get you fired. educate yourselves instead of believing someone who spreads gloom and doom... the new pay scale negotiated by the union gives new hires a chance to make what you make and more. What AT&T did was protect itself from someone coming in and doing nothing all day while your peers carry the work load.. I'm ashamed do you not know that this is your company?????? i own it !!!

  • AT&T didn't come and knock on your door and ask you if you wanted a job.... you came to AT&T I was an independent contractor for many years and I didn't have a gaarenteed paycheck every week. If i did great and took excellent care of my customers i got a commision check if not i didn't have enough to place bread and butter on my table for my children to eat..TACR assures the company their assets are protected and creates growth which in turn saves our jobs...

  • Being a manager for the largest telecommunications company is great. I get to tell my employees off and do whatever I want to do all day and there is nothing a rep can do about it but slave on the phone!

  • I worked here 3 years and since TACR came out is has been so stressful. It's the biggest load of shit, the system is designed to fail. It's almost impossible to be consistent, i have won a huge quartley award for service then the next month I failed a couple TACR surveys and now get in trouble WTF

  • So true about everything! The day on demand, the surveys, even not wanting to give the 3day in a row. There use to be a yahoo website for "not so satisfied" employees to go talk anonymously to each other but it was shut down years ago. But at least we have this now! This makes me laugh. Please keep making more! I wish I new what program you used to make that bcuz I would love to make some of my own lol!

  • This company is all about sales and thats it. If the rep's do not meet their sales goals they get fired. So who gives a 'f about service when sales is what will keep your job.

  • The largest phone company has a bunch of greedy big shots running it and expect the reps to make the customer happy about their pricing, fee's and policies. Then when you call in for tech support or to pay your bill the system is desinged to have you mess up and get to customer sales and service so you can be sold something.

  • F*ck TACR. The largest phone company in the world based in the usa is the worlds largest telemarketer. They send confusing letters to customers and phone calls telling them their email address changed. All designed to make them call in because the letter and phone call is unclear.

  • I've been at this dumb of a company for 25 years and it was a good company when it was Ameritech, but then "DICK" Notebart sold it to Big Ed of SBC and then SBC bought AT&T and changed the name to AT&T since no one had any idea what SBC stood for.... this TACR has gotten so many good hard working people fired...you can't get a day off to take care of medical needs or to take care of your children,,,,the company hasn't settled the contract with the union that ended 6/29/09 ATT is evil and hatefu

  • i also am an employee and nobody has handcuffed me to my computer or forced a gun to my head to come into work everyday,I decide that for myself. After all have you seen the unemployment statistics lately????? I'm sure they would love to trade places with us anyday... I have said this before and will say this again the door opens the same way going out of the building as it does going in here's a thought......not to be cruel but can you picture yourself without this job??????....

  • I agree with you, the pay is the only thing that makes someone stay since its so good. However the level of stress can really break you, alot of weight on your shoulders

  • If you like your job or have absolutely no other choice, then I respect your decision to stay. Not to be cruel, but If it is fear that is keeping you at AT&T, then you might want to reevaluate your decision. I can picture myself without this job. That's why I quit...even with kids to feed. I will not be a slave to a corporation. That's my decision and I'm happy to be gone

  • It took me back to when I was pulled in the office and asked to bring my headset with me so we can listen to ALL the calls that were dissatisfied people. NONE were about MY contact with the customer.

  • this is so true! the tac!r surveys are terrible. its crazy how are jobs are based on a customers rating of the company. if you dont get a very satisfied you lose all points. big props to the rep who made this!! maybe this will get the attention we need & have the tac!r dropped. keep them coming!
