The reason why Eager said something to Pronger is because he boarded Craig Adams. If you watch the video, you'll see it. The replay at the end shows the boarding. There was no call -- which is typical for Pronger -- so Eager said something. Players wearing jaw masks shouldn't be boarding other if they don't want any retribution. Skirt boy. Eager drew a 5 min. penalty, so I hope Parros keeps that up when they play again.

Parros is usually pretty good at choosing his battles, despite his large amount of fighting penalties. Keep in mind he plays in California, where the market it saturated with Football fans. Parros' job is to attract attention to the rough side of Hockey in that market.

Great Post. I think part of the reason they keep him is economical. Granted fans like the violence fighting brings. Fighting is done more to regain or maintain momentum. These enforcers can be exploited as we have seen above. The players that bait these men into doing something are called sissies and so on. When what they really did was smart and calculating. When he let Parros go nuts he robb Parros of that momentum switch.
