My biological father I've never heard from, or of, in my entire life. Nor can I say that I would really care to. My point of all of this is that when you give up a child there is a hole created in the entire fabric of their being. Something is broken inside of them that no amount of love or affection can replace. I now have my own daughter, who I love more than life itself. When I look into her eyes I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to leave her indefinitely.
I don't know if I'm just bantering or not, but I feel compelled to leave a message here. I seldom swing in and out of depression, but when I do I'm pretty down. I've had a lot happen to me in my life, I was adopted as an infant and I was diagnosed with several different cognitive disabilities by the time I began kindergarten. My biological mother was very mentally unstable and had disabilities of her own, this I've learned through my parents who have raised me remarkably.

Love this song. I listen to Evanescence all the time, mostly during hard times. I've learned to play two of her songs because I feel dedicated to Amy. She's helped me get through the worst and I thank her for tht :)

I remember I use to be in a dark place and would listen to evanescence all the time. Her songs probably saved my life as they reflected exactly how I felt.
