Businesses exist to serve customers and make a profit for shareholders. All stakeholders are not equal. Yes, businesses need to care about employees, the community, the environment, etc., but treating them as equal to customers and owners makes no sense.

A fundamental management principle is to FOCUS. This guy wants businesses to turn into government agencies. He has obviously never worked in a REAL business with REAL people.

In argument, I interpret Freeman's theory to be very market-based.
