I used to Chinese Brush Paint years ago and quit because of the difficulty of mounting (I use to use wall paper paste and many times it would leave wrinkles or bubbles and was messy). This looks so much easier! I'm inspired to get out my materials again. Thank you!

I'm currently teaching english in china and have tried to explain what silicone release paper is but have had no luck. do you know what the name is in chinese? I have a few things I'd now like to mount but just don't know what to ask for.
thanks for your help, I look forward to viewing more of your videos.
If you are in China, you may find a mounting shop very easily. Sorry I don't know what Silicone Release Paper is called in Chinese. You may describe it as 熱敏裱褙紙(heat sensitive mounting paper).Since it is industry material, it's not likely that you will find in any stationary or art supply stores.
I tried to wet mount the rice papers I bought from you and LOL it definately was not easy - all three paintings went to pieces. I think I'll stick to dry mounting
Beautiful painting!

Hope this video helps you with dry mounting. Actually, sprey water is same as wet mount, which is a very necessary step in dry mounting.
