here you are perfectly right about the job....im an art student but i lack sins i graduate the art highschool and now i dont even have the motivation to draw because this is what i must do every time. And it gets booring drawing agenst your will. Sorry for my bad english.
thank you so much 4 these words, man. This is exactly how i feel right now. And it was exactly the right moment to hear that breaking out is not crazy.
Thank you for this. You've inspired me. You've reminded me why I love art again. I'm currently trapped in a comfortable cell. Art/animation is my "job". My art has been stale for 3 years now. Time to make a change...
I LOVE ONE THING AT THIS PAINTINGS. (everything of course. but one thing specially) as soon as you get into painting the shadow/light the painting gains a depth that looks incredible it looks like a 3D model .awesome!!
im trying to get back into drawing and i wanted to start doing animation but i wanted to know what tools do i need to do this on my computer, , its very hard to draw with a mouse
Ideally, if money is not an issue, get a cintiq and get either TVPaint or Digicel Flipbook Pro, Flash is horrible to draw into compared to these 2 programs and has alot of features you dont need. You can get the regular flipbook but it only has 1 layer of animation and 1 background layer so theres no real oppertinity to cleanup. An intuous or bamboo tablet are fine too if youre on a budget.
You are rigth about the diference to draw for fun or to draw for earn money making something that you don´t liked, when i was in art school i do works, that was the horst drawings i have made because i don´t feel notingh, i don´t whant something for obligation, best regards man of portugal
sorry, my comment below was meant for another painting.. I was confused but I wanted to say here that I really liked to see the process of the old man painting. :)
man, this painting really touched me. I never cried by seeing a painting and this one did make me cry. there's so much emotion and sadness in it, really well done. one of my favourite artworks ever.
hes using photoshop not paintshop. and a company's name does not need to be correct... itd be a boring ass world if every company had to be correct on their naming.
You speak the truth Bobby. I have big responsibilities now and my artwork has taken a back seat. Don't get me wrong, I get a small piece out here and there, but not grand ones like back in the days. It's nice to hear a fellow artist feel the same way I do. Keep up with artwork. Simply amazing!
Bobby, I just want to let you know that you make a big change in my life. Your art are beautiful and your words really reach me. Just want to say THANK YOU. Good luck with everything you do.
Been following your work for a long time now. It was cool to see your art process, but I think I learned so much more from your words than your art. I'm glad you shared your wisdom in this area.

Yeah really, fine art seems like a chore (so I stopped it) and anything that doesn't take too much time is what we're all about. I am like that too!

'imaginism' ? skipped some english classes for your art ones then? you are possed of a wisdom beyond merely paintshop, namely a better program.
