  • How do you make it?

  • Pascal's Law has to be one of the biggest contributors to making this fine contraption work.

  • Where did you get the needless syringes?

  • how do you rotate it?

  • the claw is difficult. you have to get the right balance point for the elastic band to pull it shut. also make sure your pivot points for the claw are stable as on my prototype they flexed slightly and the claw would close over the top of itself. post pics/links of your own

  • They body was produced from laser cut acrylic that was formed up on a strip heater - it would work fine with just flat strips but it was a uni assignment.

    It just works on 4 syringes (8 in total) bicept, forearm, hand and one to raise the arm (deltoid????)

    I developed it as a unit of work for a uni assignment pitched at year 9 students working with systems to come up with procedures etc. the robots were to be pre made. if your interested i can send you the unit of work, plans etc
