I use an old school barbershop too. They put the hot towel on your face to make your beard hairs "pop" and stand up so that you can get a close shave. They also use a straight razor and safety razors. The straight razors they use though are regular razor blades that go into a holder that looks like an old fashioned straight razor. Every now and then my barber will pull out an old fashioned Dovo though and do a shave. Its the best shave you will ever get.Nothing else gets your skin so smooth.
