either he doesn't know what it is or he is afraid to use the term (peak oil)he clearly knows what some of the effects will be he just doesn't use the term (peak oil) i must also say listening to his energy speech in Lansing Michigan he has no clue of how serious the problem is not only for America , but whole world.

A valid question, and well put. I like the seascape background. Concerning what you said: I don't think the senator knows. If he makes President he will be in a position where he could put us on track for the situation "after oil". But I don't think he's aware of this. Well, peak oil will make itself felt... and pretty soon too. And then he will start to act, but way too late. Cheers
