  • I really like this song, and specially Blackmore´s interlude in the beginning and in the middle of the song , it´s melodic and sad at the same time ... Blackmoreish ! :)

  • Schiarazula Marazula the title

is music from renaissance Friuli - Udine - Italy

  • Hillitön tatsi tällä kitaran suurmestarilla, kertakaikkiaan. Long live rockn roll Ritchie Blackmore !!!

  • @ana69035 Oon samaa mieltä!Ja miten upeasti vetää slaidilla!!!

  • I wish that blackmore could have played in deep purple AND blackmores night nowadays, he is still awesome on guitar anyways!

  • Ta solówka na gitarze......hmmmmmmmmmmmmm super!!

  • part of the melody is taken from the track "ballo in fa diesid" of Angelo Branduardi

  • ahaha. listen this songs:

    1. RAPALJE - Wat zullen we drinken

    2. Scooter-how much is the fish

    3. Bots - Zeven dagen lang

    4. MERVENT - Ev Sistr

    they are the same!

  • @kaandrey

    and so what?

  • I knew that scooter were just thieves of ideas...

  • I love them...

    fantastic song..

  • Perfect! And what a passion is in Blackmore, He enjoys the whole!

    That I enjoy eve more:)

  • I simply love this song, Blackmore goddest Rock guitar!!!

great Candice too in this track, very passional and choir too....

  • this is 1 of my favourite Blackmore Night track's....amazing!

  • Dobra stvarka još bolja plavka!!!

  • The melody from 2:06 is "Schiarazula Marazula", a renaissance dance.

    -- Wayfarer

  • I admire their total commitment to bringing a sense of the 1500's into the 1970's. I was stirred.

  • Candice is so freekin hot!!! I think Ritchie and Phil Spector use the same wig maker.

  • @JOEX3006 Good thing it doesn't matter what you think, huh !!

  • Epic!!!

  • This is incredible, i believe it`s the best live performance in the world!!!

  • its a great song! my RPG group adopted it as the partys Theme song in DnD

  • @CrimsonPaine HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • A friend of mine was a techn;icians in Blackmore's Night performance n Greece and told me that Rithcie was very , who can i tell it , selfish (spelled ok ?) and strange (not the best description but i can't translate it exactly) but still awsome guitarist !

  • When I was at their concert, they were going to play this song, but something made Blackmore bit angry and he just walked off the stage and then they left. Didn't even come back. But even how annoying personality someone may have, they can be truly artists. Solos have been nothing since Blackmore. He is the best.

  • I'm sure it wasnt his first time. Have you seen what does he do in the beggining of the Deep Purple's "Come Hell High Water" concert? He throws a glass full of water at Gillan...i know why but still...he can hold his childish attitude for somewhere else. He is the greatest anyway.

  • I haven't seen that, but Blackmore has always been known of hes guitar skills and his bad temper.

  • I've been told about that scene , can you give me a link to find it on tape ? Blackmore forever !

  • Great.

  • Great Song!

    Blackmore´s Night is just amazing!...

by the way, 4:14, the first time I see Ritchie doing a cool move in Blackmore´s Night :)

  • @Lordshadowkan Yeah, 6:46 thru 7:00 was prety cool also

  • blackmoore idol!!!

  • Bella.

  • Lol, why does she have to wave her hand every time she shings "not alone"? XD

Nice song, even if a bit repetitive.

  • this song makes me happy so let's be happy together ... not alone !!! :D :D :D luv this song

  • great ;]

  • yeah, this is the greatest melody in thge world and almost every song that has it sounds good. even my remix of scooter - how much is the fish :D

  • I don't drink, but this song makes me want to. :)

  • The original is Breton. Alan Stivell sang this in the 70s. the song is Breton drinking song entitled ' Son ar Chistr'.

  • What is that guy at 6:20 playing? It looks exactly like a Swedish "nyckelharpa" (keyed fiddle). I didn't know that that instrument was spread over the continent as well.

  • Right you are, it's a nyckelharpa! It was actually known across a part of Europe during the middle ages, the oldest depictions of it have been found in Sweden, Germany and Italy. It seems that it had been largely forgotten outside Sweden since about 16th-17th century untill recently.

  • fantastic song

  • incredible song , definitely one of their best...

  • Blackmore's night is just outstanding

  • Hey, I heard this melody in a song played by Luar na Lubre...

Search for a 7 minute song called "Espiral - Luar na Lubre"

    Listen from 1:20 until 2:30.

Do any of you guys know whose song is this?!

  • Hey!Yes, I listened to this music. Blackmor plays different music and writes in a table of contents - music Traditional, arranged by Richie Blackmor. I have learned too in a melody (Gone With the Wind)-Russian song " Field, my field / полюшко - поле" (Andre Rieu - Poliushko Polie)- listen

  • Interesting...

Do you know the origin of the song? Is it russian then?

    Thanks for the clarification!

  • First, thanks for the tip. The guitar solo in the beginning is Poliushko Polie, alright...

But I'm actually talking about the sung melody, take a look at the video I mentioned.

"We'll drink together, and when we drink we'll drink together, not alone..." That's the melody I'm talking about. Seriously, take a look.

  • this song and the melody is old. so its not weird if you find it in other songs cause there is n copyright on it :)

  • That original melody of that "we drink together" etc. is breton. It's exist in other languages to like in german "Was sollen wir trinken"

The bridge (or whatever) she plays on the shawn (i think so it's called in englisch, we call i rauschpfeife or schalmei depending on the mouthpiece) is called Schirazulla as far as i know

  • Son ar Chistr, breton, and Schiarazula Marazula medieval north italian...

  • Scooter uses the melody or something in a song called "How much is the fish"

  • @gre8

I've read that it's originally a Breton folk tune, although it seems to have been adopted by the Germans as the drinking song Was Wollen Wir Trinken.

  • @gre8 Its originally from a dutch band called "Bots" the song is called 7 dagen lang.

they sing in dutch too though. or in german if you search for sieben tage. :)

  • WOW!! I love this performance!!

  • süperr thanks

  • Thanks for this great present. Candice + The Geyers, what for a combination - it rules.

  • great!

  • love it :]

  • Мне тоже нравится эта вещь,особенно выход волынки.
