Zack is such a hypocrite. Remember how eager he was to learn about his Indian ancestor that he was willing to blow off a race to be with the man who taught him? Now he's upset with AC because he wants to learn about his heritage rather than go skiing. For once I hate Zack
It's necessary to understand that this episode was influenced by real life student protest - the 1993 UCLA Hunger Strike for Chicano Studies. Without a real - and successful - struggle, this episode would never have happened. Despite imperfections (see STAYHNGRY) I applaud whoever was behind this episode being made. Chicano Power!
Almost a really nice episode yet as usual, the producers need to save the most compelling and intelligent arguments for the white boy. Nothing better than a room full of chicanos who have been fighting for equal treatment for years CHEERING for a white boy who just learned of the problem days ago. What a beautiful episode it would have been if Slater aka 'Sanchez" would have given the ending motivational speech. But I guess then it would not have been American TV would it?
@STAYHNGRY I know thats right! Preach it! I always knew there was something wierd about that name of his. I mean come on now..."Albert Clifford Slater"?! What damm Chicano do you know has a dumbass white name like that? Whats even more dumb about this episode is how Zack didn't even know that Slater was mexican and thought he was Italian. What Italians do you know look like that? Come on now...

@PrarieDawn103- Actually Zach HAD to learn about his heritage for a school project or else he would be banned from a track meet.

@islandblader I understand that, but after a while, he became intrigued and WANTED to learn about it
