Halibut have tough mouths so it shouldn't be a problem if hooked there. If they swallow it there is not too much you can do without long pliers.

I've been with the Heiltsuk on the Central Coast bringing in an eighty pounder. You want to stand well back when those babies come over the side. Keep up the great videos.
