@TPHSnowman Yeah well this is beatmania IIDX 6th style, which came out 8 YEARS before DJ hero (the current version is IIDX 19), and the difficulty has increased since then. Also it might not be obvious on the video, but your timing needs to be infinitely more accurate in IIDX than in guitar hero or DJ hero.

So yes it's a different gameplay, but no, it's in no way easier than DJ hero. If you really had to compare I'm pretty sure IIDX would actually be harder.

@TPHSnowman I totally agree with you here : it's absolutely not a DJ simulator (I think it's closer to playing a really small synthetizer lol), and DJ hero is probably more realistic. But it doesn't have anything to do with the difficulty of the game.

Also, if you're looking for an arcade DJ game, you might be interested in Crackin' DJ (2 turntables and a crossfader).

@TPHSnowman I beg to differ, this is a harder game. You have to have excellent rhythm AND really good hand eye coordination to do well in this game. It isn't nearly as forgiving as most other music games. Even the first version for the play station is very picky about perfect timing.

it looks like it's a 6th style, so maybe around 2001-2002. Not everyone was up to Lisu's level back in the day, not to mention he used to be the best, single handedly (pun intended) destroying every single song.

Now, V on another is pretty much a cakewalk for most Japanese players, but you have to remember the times. Like with DDR, Max 300 used to be impossible. Guitar hero, TTFAF used to be hard.
