  • Hi I'm learning to ride a unicycle, and made a video montage of my third day trying to ride it, please take a look /watch?v=M0HWlNZY6mc&context=C38ead58ADOEgsToPDskJzuIUDo3b2poIB1eqkol4N thanks!

  • Now how to get DOWN????

  • @Revanth75 haha... getting down is not as difficult as it seems, overall riding a unicycle is not as dangerous as most people assume... good luck

  • @Revanth75 LOL this comment made me laugh so hard.

  • Now I want to buy a Unicycle.

  • @SolidCopy1... you should, check out craigslist for a cheap one to learn on and then go to unicycle.com for a good one

  • Extremely helpful. Thanks!

  • @AmazingCams... you're welcome ;)

  • i just bought one today and my record is 2 peddals. hoorah i am a champ

  • @ShadowPhenix45 that is a good attitude... the journey of a thousand pedals starts with one (or two)

  • was this shot in new mexico?

  • @swiss221 it was shot in Tucson, AZ

  • How do I know how tall the unicycle should be for my height and is it easier to have a big wheel or smaller one?

  • @brilliantblob You'll want to set the seat height to a place where you have a slight knee bend when the pedal is at it's lowest point. A smaller wheel is generally easier to learn on... I recommend a 20" for learning... the bigger wheels are much smoother and faster if you want commute anywhere... unicycle.com is a really helpful company with experts willing to help ;) let me know if you have any more questions

  • @bobandtrishjuggling thank you very much, I pretty sure my unicycle is too big I'll have to do something about that :)

  • 1:52 what the f***??

  • I just rode back and forth on a bench and kept up straight with my arm out.

  • i learned to ride it in 2 hours

  • @millerboy3210 that's really good... were there any specific tips that helped you learn so fast?

  • 15-30 hours really? Challenge accepted ;l

  • @BlueBetaPro Yes, let me know how it goes... 15-30 hours is a generalized range, but it seems really accurate from my experience. -CB

  • I fuck!ng love your mustache!

  • @tsmcconnell Thank you for the kind words towards my 'stache. -CB

  • i'm gonna need a new unicycle by the time i learn cause this one will be so beat up from falling

  • @icecreamichelle keep practicing... you'll get it... it's best to learn on a junkie unicycle and then buy a good one later ;)

  • Basically practice

  • cool vid!. tnks:)

  • All that's missing is napoleon dynamite

  • nobody has even made fun of this guy yet???? ARE ALL OF YOU GUYS BLIND?? Do you not see that this guy is at least 30 and unnecessarily wearing his douschey outfit with all the accessories to go along with it??? And.... He's teaching you how to ride a UNICYCLE!!! 5:32 "Surround your self with people who can ride a unicycle. " Thanks BOB. hahahahahahaha what has this worls come to?

  • @yaseenyusuf1989 I think the outfit is awesome...we all have to have our own swagger! Bob is a great rider, teacher, and person! That's what I think this worls, i mean world, is coming to.

  • @yaseenyusuf1989

hes gettin' a lot more pussy than you, douchebag!

  • @LeonRussellisGod

From u?? u jack off to this vid, dont u fag? dont get me started with u queermo.

However, i was joking about this video. I like the guy.. He seems cool. You, though, are a lame

  • @yaseenyusuf1989 Theres only one way to settle this. Unicycle race. Post your best, lets see some skills. You do know how to ride, right?

  • i dont even own a unicycle yet i watched it.

  • @litojonny you should get a unicycle!

  • Nice vid! I've tried to learn how to ride it, but failed quickly... Gonna try again!

  • @LaPlata63549 Stick with it... learning to ride a unicycle can be extremely frustrating, but eventually you will get a little breakthrough and then practicing actually becomes enjoyable... let me know if you have any questions as you "try again"

  • They see me rollin'. They hatin'.

  • Haha porn star mustache!

  • I would practice this on grass so i dont....lose a limb

  • when i watched this video, you looked kind of supid (no offense) and i thought the video was kind of a joke. anyway i ended up watching the whole thing. then i went out and tried it. i have had my unicycle for 6 days now and i can ride it quite well.

    thank you very much.

  • @TheImminentSwagg Good work! Yes, the character is a joke, but the teaching is quality stuff. Have fun riding. -Coach Bob ;)

  • Thankyou I can now ride my unicycle haha!

  • @CyborgEffects woo hoo! good work... let me know if you have any questions down the road!

  • Also, note that females learn to ride the unicycle a lot slower than males, (the pain of nut-crushing makes anyone a fast learner)

  • @SmithScapegoat the pain of nut-crushing is a very real thing... Coach Bob strongly advocates wearing spandex shorts while learning ;)

  • I'm proud I got a unicycle yesterday and can already ride it yipeeeeeeee

  • @dylpyl1 wow... good work!

  • what size wheel do you have and how tall are you

  • @MrGuy2224 I am 6'2" and use a 20" wheel mostly... but I also own a 29" and a 36"... I learned on a 24" wheel

  • Thanks Coach Bob! I just wanted to summarize your points for myself, so thought I'd leave this commend so they'd be linked and easy to reference again over the coming weeks if I need to check back for reminders. 15-30 Hours Deliberate Practise 5 Tips: #1 Good Posture 1:47 #2 Lean Slightly Forward and Use your Arms 2:08 #3 Keep on pedaling 2:34 #4 Vary Your Mistakes 3:24 #5 Mental Practice/Visualization 4:18 5Ps 5:41 Positive|Practise|Patience|Perseverance|Pass it On!
  • @chrisnolanca That is exactly right... thank you for the posting the summary. -Coach Bob

  • Good job Bob...this is one of the best intro to unicycle vids on YT

  • @Guinnie Thank you for the kind words. -Coach Bob

  • night dreams? aren't those just dreams

  • this is good but really creepy guy it reminds me of napolian dynamite

  • What is the best size unicycle to just ride around on because i just bought my unicycle today off of craigslist and can balance myself and mount without holding anything and can ride fairly far and wanted to get a good durable unicycle what would be the best to get ??

  • @dahSquid I'm glad to hear you are enjoying the unicycle... I'd have to know more about your size and the type of riding you want to do before I can reall recommend a good unicycle. How tall are you? How old are you? Do you plan on using the unicycle for longer rides (over a mile)? What kind of tricks would you like to learn (hopping, backwards, one-foot, etc.)? How much would you like to pay for a new unicycle? If you can answer those for me, I can recommend the best unicycle for you.

  • @bobandtrishjuggling im 16 im 5 10 i just wanna ride around not do tricks and yeah probably over a mile and 300 is probably most i would want to spend but i would go over if its worth it. i have a 20 x 1.75 size tire and it is pretty comfortable i was wondering if it would be easier with bigger ?? maybe like 24

  • @bobandtrishjuggling and should i get a cup ??? lol hurts sometimes

  • @dahSquid I think you would like a 24" a lot... go to unicycle.com and check out the Nimbus II... it's a good, durable unicycle... haha... yes, unicycling does hurt the groin area... I got some under-armour spandex shorts and those help for longer rides and the Nimbus seats are comfy... good luck and let me know if you have any other questions. -Bob

  • Every time I ride my unicycle someone on a bike comes up to me and says, "What happened to the other half of your bike?" or something like that. I always answer, "I don't have half a bike, you just still have your training wheel on."

  • @violoncello302 if I had a dollar for every time someone said that to me, i'd be rich ;)

  • can belive i saw the whole shit when i can ride those thing!

  • @AndreasSkate lol me to

  • You have to be completely sober to ride one of these.

  • Thanks Coach B.! Gr8 Attitude & To The Point!! Did I Mention Rather Slick Too!

  • Napoleon Dynamite

  • Dear, Bob.

For me I used the rope pulling visualization as well. However, with me I imagine im being pulled from a rope that is around or bellow my belly button. Today is my first day riding or even seeing a unicycle and I have already rode 20 feet or more on my attempts several times. Is this common?

  • @IronweaverVlog That is not common... usually it takes about 3 weeks of consistent practice, but you must have some natural ability... keep working at it... there is an endless list of unicycle skills to learn... let me know if you have any more questions. -CB

  • @bobandtrishjuggling i watched your videos along with countless others in the week leading up to my uni's arrival and im thinking maybe that is it but i love it a lot and i sure will

  • i loved it. it helped me ride a unicycle completely

  • Wow, Coach Bob, I am genuinely impressed, that was a seriously helpful video. Cheers.

  • Many thanks Coach Bob !

I followed your instructions and after 5 days of training I succeeded.

    Thank you again !

    Greetings from Romania :D

  • @maramarosifavago 5 days! Wow, that is impressive... have fun on the unicycle and pass the video on to others!

  • @19EvansVideos 5 days.......but practicing for 2-3 hours each day.

Thanks again and good luck with your activity !

  • Many thanks :)

  • Is it ok to try this on carpet? When falling off, is it normal to fall onto your feet, or do you recommend some sort of protective gear? Also, Walmart.com sells a uni for $80...is that good enough? Figure there can't be much to it. Thanks!

  • @wakkoss riding on carpet is fine... might be a bit harder because you'll need to pedal more/harder to keep the wheel rolling... you will fall on your feet 99% of the time... a cheap unicycle will be fine to learn with, but it might not be durable and if you really like riding you will want to get something better from unicycle.com or something... hope that helps... good luck -Coach Bob

  • I started practicing last year for about 4 months until winter came. I practice about an hour and a half almost every night for months now and I still can't ride a unicycle. I can get 50 - 70 ft and then I come off. Raising my seat up has helped me keep my weight on the seat but it's not enough. When should it kick in? It took my friend 10 days to learn and we got unicycles around the same time.

  • @ozzmonaut If you can ride 50 to 70 feet, you are close to being able to ride forever. What happens when you "come off"? Keeping your head up and your eyes focused ahead is a helpful tip. Thanks for watching the video. -Coach Bob

  • @bobandtrishjuggling I'm pretty sure that either my right arm is stiffening up and I forget to balance, or my feet pushing causes my tail to come up off the seat enough to let the uni shake around enough to send me down.

  • @bobandtrishjuggling And also thanks for the vid, I couldn't even get that far until I tried the "pulled by a rope" mindset

  • Best training video I have seen on youtube so far. Very helpful, thank you.

  • @aCrazyDrummer Thank you. Happy riding (and drumming) to you. -Coach Bob

  • Great, informative video! I just ordered a unicycle today, and I can't wait to start learning! Thanks a lot!!!

  • @Sn00pyDeluxe Thank you... I'm glad you enjoyed the video... let me know if you have any specific questions when you start practicing -Coach Bob

  • Just got a unicycle as a random bday gift I look forward to what appears to be a difficult challenge thank you for the video. Any other recommended videos are appreciated.

  • @zhomefinder1 Happy Birthday! There are lots of good videos to help you learn to unicycle. Keep practicing a little bit every day... stay positive and patient... and don't give up (persevere)... then pass on the joy of unicycling to someone else!

  • ok seriousily i think the best part about this video is the way u mounted it, i couldnt hardly even keep mine up straight and when i seen how u did it the first time i tryed i got like 10 feet not much but its a good step

  • @xx8neo8xx That's great... I'm glad it helped... stick with it and I'm sure you'll be riding all over soon enough... let me know if you have any questions. -Coach Bob

  • NICE VIDEO IT TOOK WE ABOUT A WEEK OF PRACTICING TO RIDE MORE THAN 100FEET NOW A YEAR + LATER I AM RIPPING IT UP SINGLE TRACK ROOTS HILLS AND JUMPS. OH YEAH NICE OUTFIT COACH BOB VERY COMICAL

  • This is a dynamite Video. Packed full of tips that should not be overlooked. Its so easy to just practice hard and make little progress. Im pretty sure though, if new comers listen close... They will find that Coach Bob knows what he is saying.

  • this is wrong he says it takes 15 hours to learn it took me 7 hours AND IM 10 years old

  • @islamicorca No one cares how old you are. It does not make the cool factor go up, or down...well it actually makes it go down, because no one likes a boaster. Keep your boasting to yourself.

    Trolololololol!!!!!

  • @nosam90 your just jealous that because your prrobably about half done your life and you still havnt accomplished anything and never will

    Trolololoolololololol!!!!!

  • @islamicorca Actually I am only 21, and have accomplished what a 21 year old can accomplish.

And you're just jealous of my jealousy because you haven't gotten laid yet!...wait what?....yea.

    Trolololololol!!!!!

  • This actually helped alot

    Thanks!!!

  • ok thanks for the ideas i have an issue with pedaling i try yo go forward and cant get a rotation in i get maybe half a rotation i realy need to learn because people in my family say well you never be able to do it i need to prove them wrong!!

    thanks again juggels19

  • hey man great video i have a unicycle and cant ride ive been trying for over two years i need serious help i have issusse going forward getting the next rotation of the pedal i can get up and thats it i cant go forward i dont want to say im afraid of falling off but idk please help!

    thanks juggles19

  • @juggles19 Thanks Juggles19... Take a few days to get comfortable with mounting with your back to a support... when the pedals are parallel, push of from the support and go for it... when I learned, I practiced for 30 minutes a day for about 10 consecutive days... i kept a journal to keep track of the little things I learned each day... if you consistently fall off after the first half-pedal, you might not be putting enough weight on the seat... let me know if you have more specific questions

  • hey man great video i have a unicycle and cant ride ive been trying for over two years i need serious help i have issusse going forward getting the next rotation of the pedal i can get up and thats it i cant go forward i dont want to say im afraid of falling off but idk please help!

    thanks juggles 19

  • Excellent tutorial! I also agree with your statement of visualization and also about how to correct your mistakes. I'm voting for your video along with my friend Nathan Bynum's video for juggling. Great work!!

  • @joejumps4fun Thanks Joe (who jumps for fun)... your comment/vote is appreciated!

  • Thanks coach Bob I needed that.

  • @LearnToJuggleNOW Cool... let me know if you have any questions

  • Really good tutorial! I'll be showing this to my normal noob friends :)

  • This is great, good luck in the contest.
