  • The whole scene with Jessica's flight with Lorenzo was cut from this adaptation. That is a shame, since the romance between her and her lover is slighted by the omission and doesn't make sense. Why should she choose Lorenzo over a Jewish boy if we don't see any sign of affection between them? I don't blame you since it was a choice made by the director.
