What has happened? I have have just found this film nearly one year after the deadline to comment. I hope option seven has been chosen. I hope justice has been done. Please tell us what we can do to help.
I pray for Universal support for option 7 returning control to the Oglala tribe, at a pace that is acceptable and beneficial for the health and well being of the tribe and Sioux Nation
I fully support this. What is the current status? I know the comment period is over (Oct. 19th) but I have re-posted this nonetheless to raise awareness!
I know when I was in Australia years ago, I was very glad to see the Aboriginal Anangu people managing Uluru and Kata Tjuta. I know that is a joint management model and feel it is a step ion the right direction. I hope this option 7 will pass as I feel in my heart that on so many levels it would be healing.
Thanks for keeping us informed. I hope the native people get back this section of land and it is used to brind money into the area for the native people. Also Katela is gorgeous and well spoken.
Good luck. The gummint contninues to lie.

Leave this land to the loving hands of the First Nations of America. They would know to really take care of it.
