My mother would stop everything to listen and watch everytime this movie would be on television. The theme song is misleadingly 'simple' - it's difficult to sing, Pat Boone did a very nice job. I agree, it's a 'must-see' movie. The lyrics and movie are a true match. My mother has passed now, but she was the oldest of 9, and then had 6 children. This movie touched her in many ways. I 'tear-up' just hearing the lyrics and remembering her. She was one of few words, but intense depth.

no, it's cut off...unfortunately. this tune was nominated for oscar's best song in 1956.
