When I lived in DuBoistown, PA, I knew that Engine 8 was a 1970s-1980s era Mack CF608 pumper, retrofitted with a Maxidyne diesel, which was not stock with the engine. Although I don't remember when old Engine 8 was retired, I think it was retired around 2001 around the time of the 9/11 disaster. Now THAT was a controversial time for our mother country, as 343 FDNY firefighters lost their lives. Were you in NYC at the time of the collapse, because I saw the disaster on the news.

I rode in the truck one year after fire prevention at my church, and forgot to put on my seatbelt for safety. I believe the truck is a Ferrara, but it says on the mud flaps 'Grumman', which made me think it's either an HME with a Grumman body or a Ferrara with a Grumman body.
@TheUban123 This is not long after it was retired.So it was White over red.It looked horrible in that scheme.Origially it was dark Red(like what the New Rescue 23 will be in half a month).

Beautiful Q.We have a 1987 Sutphen at our fire company i love the Q.We also have a 2000 sutphen and u can really tell the difference in the sirens.I love the old ones.

Yea... my department is also strict on videos because of the liability standpoint. We do have a couple that I need to find because we run a lot of shit on I-85 in NC.
@PSFDstation46 Where do you expect the bus to go? Drive off the side of the ramp and roll over? Not like he had enough room to get over and allow the engine to pass while on the ramp.
