Yes this is probably the perfect build of the game, sadly it performs terribly. I'm pretty sure good reflections and perfect shadows are not work the 20+ FPS drop. However since I have an OK rig its still playable but unfortunately for many this will be a heaven in hell.

I don't get it. I have a i5-760 and HD 5750 1GB and i get only 10 fps on 1.0.7.0

@Domi1994assassin HD 5750 is weak:) 1.0.7.0 finally use more of modern GPUs. Look for HD 68XX or GTX 570 or faster...

@jayjayos that's true but shit. Why people need to upgrade there graphics card to play on 1.0.7.0. They must do a patch witch corrects this. I think I'm gonna buy 6950 and flash it to 6970 maybe this year.

& do you think a q8300 will bottleneck a gtx 560??

@ksamarth0 If you overclock your CPU at 3300Mhz it should be good. But If you are not overclocker, look for Core i5 ;)

@jayjayos no man i cant oc it i have the original intel mobo which does not support overclocking , BTW how much performance would i get if i add a gtx 560??

@ksamarth0 Hard to say :) I do not know what you have now :) Anyway I use MSI Afterburner for monitoring during the gaming. And even when I have Q9550@3.7Ghz, my GTX570 generate around 40FPS, and use the GPU is 60-75%. Well... If you set vehicle density at 0, you should watch some improvement...

@jayjayos Why do you have to lower the graphics if you got a GTX 570 and are at 3.7Ghz, is it because the mod you got on or is it because the fraps.

@BIG10717 Because GTX 570 has not enough memory for full details and C2Q Q9550@3.7Ghz is highly oveclocked, but still too weak for GTA 4. If you want to use 100% power of GPU, look for Core i7 or NEW Sandy bridge ;)

@jayjayos Will a amd phenom ii x4 955 work good for this card and game, all so the gta4 specs says you have to have 2.4GHz and the one you are at is high and the amd phenom ii x4 955 is at 3.2GHz.

Wow, this looks pretty awesome, is this just standard or with mod?

I only have tested v1.0.6.0. but this is just great, even the shadows are soft!
