streater-you're not paying the bill for retirees-that is money they legitimately put into the system. To deny someone their benefits when they retire is basically THEFT. Like if you had a bank hold your savings then when you go to retreive it, they say "sorry-we spent it on something else".

I agree, we should just get rid of social security and end this problem. I don't think any of us want to pay for the enormous bill for all the retirees.
