@GORFF987 Indeed! George is also apparently the patron saint of Portugal, Lithuania, Malta, soldiers and - less obviously - skin diseases and syphilis. So maybe we should have a bank holiday on April 23rd, if only to have a jolly good scratch.

MyMateGeorge: I think this clip is great....you certainly have a talent for genuine entertainment and I enjoyed the lyric immensely...you convey the image of this thoroughly English bloke George so well...he's like many I know personally and makes me proud to live in England...in Herefordshire.....I could not live anywhere else but England and I am grateful for all the great things about it and I wish more English people did the same.
