  • The hat is super cute! How did u get the rim of the hat so it didn't roll? Purl one knit one? Also how did you get the mouth a perfect circle? The ear doesn't seen like it would be a circle layed flat. Last question how to you put the nose on? Sorry so many questions!

  • @kgo30 Yes, to get the hat not to roll I knitted on whole row then purled another whole row until it was the desired length. I made the mouth the exact same way as the ears, but I used a much thinner yarn and 2 strands. I should have shown how you can pull the material and shape it to lay flat. Doing the gathering method that I show it creates a flat top so it works really well. I put the nose on with a darning needle and yarn in the same color.I sewed the nose/mouth in with black thread.
