They actually are real people who thought they were part of a focus group, not actors. I worked at a store where one of these commercials was filmed. They genuinely had no idea.

Ha, I just found this. I recruit for focus groups and usually we call people from our database, who have signed up with us, but when we have to cold call, it's amazing to me how many people have no idea what a focus group is. Someone calls you out of the blue and offers you money? They think it's a scam, but it's not. I need to refer them to this commercial. I'll promise we won't pull the walls away or show their faces on RV. :). I wonder how much they got paid.
