@theflamingpiano i would have to agree that the johto 2nd generation is my favorite but after playing and beating black/white, unova 5th generation is coming in at a REALLY close fucking second....

holy hell the 5th generation, took me by surprise at being absolutely incredible. 3rd was alright and i completely skipped 4th

@theflamingpiano gold/silver/crystal (2nd generation) are probably the best. black/white (5th gen) honestly, comes in at an EXTREMELY close second. im trying to complete the national dex myself (for the second time) lol. almost have all legendaries (including the hard ass ones to find)

I had Pokemon Yellow as a kid, yeah. But Gen 2 was when I really was hit by the sheer awesomeness of Pokemon.

Silver version was what made my childhood truly great.

Real men started with Red/Blue version, I'm 18 and I still play every season that comes out proudly! Pokemon will forever be that special thing that kept my days busy when I was a child and the wonderment of finding one I didn't have or being surprised when one evolved will stay with me for the rest of my days.
