It brings the frustration flooding back. I'm sure I had to reload the b'stard after losing 3 lives or something ridiculous ! You can't be games that are pretty much impossible to complete.
you have to hold down fire and move down to kick, its not a 1213129038 button controller, you never played old school games beofre? wasted commentary on one of the best C64 games ever made.
The blew my mind when i first saw it in about 1988 and i probably finished it about 50 times, not just because of it being such a great game but the MUSIC was something i just had to experience over and over again, whether that be the ingame music or the inbetween load screens on the cassette version :)
That's a review? Have you actually played the game other than for the brief moment we see on here? Lame... Not the game, I played it for hours as a kid, loved it.
omg i rented this game when i was......6-8 i got to the part where u have to jump on the log in the river? and always missed. needless to say i wasnt happy
God, seeing this reminds me how horribly pixel perfect you had to be in these games. They were not forgiving at all, especially with jumps. It did get a bit easier once you had weapons though.
And I second Laffer on Dragons Lair for C64. Part 2: Escape from Singe's Castle is a good one as well. .
Your score is the same I would've given it.. really good game. And the music is fantastic.. each level has its own tune and there is loading music too.
One little thing though - this game is made by System 3, not Team 17. So Superfrog was made by a different company (Team 17).
I played this game when I was six. You play worse than a six year old.

always check google for manual or go to Project64 site for a text version and have a quick glance at the controls before reviewing!

Class review Paul, somehow I don't think that the guards kicking and punching you are familiar with the term
"Will you fuck off man, your starting to piss me off"
absolutely brilliant, will be looking for more top notch reviews keep them coming mate.

If you need more suggestions, I've thought of some other games I'd love to see reviewed -
Batman the Caped Crusader (C64)
Impossible Mission 2 (C64)
World Games, Califoria Games, Winter Games (C64)
Dragons Lair (C64)
Last Ninja (NES) - really shitty version, would make a funny review I bet!
