hate compounds... they make it too easy to aim. i'm a traditional and instinctive shooter. also a blacksmith along with bowyer, fletcher and a lot of other crafts and trades. so i make my own quivers, arrows, bows, arrow heads, tools, twine.. try the primative side of life. just because your more primative doesn't mean your dumb guys. you actually have to be really really smart to know how to do all of the things we do in a primative lifestyle
SkogKniv Could you make a how too do series on Bow shooting as well as cover stalking and what not? That would be neat for those of us who are interested.
Nightstalker it has been years since I even owned a bow haha. Stalking I might be able to do all on its own. I do plan on getting a new bow to re-introduce myself. So perhaps in the next year I could get something like that up.
Same here my Dad taught me years ago but with time I forgotten. How ever I bought a cheap Target bow at a garage sale last week end. If I improve enough I may buy a better Long bow. However I hope to actually make my own long bow
That's great! Makes me want to go right out and buy a bow! I haven't had one since I was a kid (I'm 42, so that's more than a few years ago), but I think I'd like one just for fun. I will probably still hunt with my rifles and shotguns, but I want in on the bow action.
Thanks, Skog, for showing the shooters do their thing.
