Actually the nose gear wire backed out of the retracts aluminum block. When I retracted the gear the coil got logged in the wheel opening and would not go up or down. My buddy noticed it on a low pass and alerted me. When it wouldn't come down I had to force a landing. To fix the problem I drilled a 1/16" hole through the aluminum block and passed dental floss through the hole, around and over the steering arm. This holds the wire in the block. No problems since. Thanks for asking.
Awesome landing, so smooth even without the gear, nice job

What happened? I guess the landing gear did not lock down? Any prop or engine mount damage after this landing? Well done!
