there just fixing the spacers in the wire a pretty routine job... the lineman actually make more then the pilots usually as long as the work is based on units ( aka how many spacers they can change in a day) neither one needs to worry about comparing pay checks they both make big money ...... does anyone know what company was flying in this video?
Even cooler to go to the school and tell their friends on carrier day. Iim an electrician on the ground and I'm bored of it cause its just to easy, I'd love to do this if I wasn't so old now.

That is some serious skill and huge balls on all parts of that crew. I saw something on Discovery about these guys. They actually had a camera crew in the chopper as they did this. Very interesting and awesome to watch.
you posted an excellent video, thanks for showing us the dangers the powerline workers have to go through to keep the power on for us, i am surprised that the man did not get shocked or killed on that wire, i commend him and the other workers for there bravery and experience to keep lights on for everyone,
