So it's chapter 11 now for chrysler. Looks like fiat knew that this would go ahead(part of the deal). This should have happened to chrysler and GM from the start. How is GM going to compete now? I know, we the people are going to be paying for it through taxes(aka stimulus)

Peter hit right on the key, all this abama talk about "helping" homeowners and stoping foreclosures is not about the homeowner at all, its simply a back door bank bailout because keeping a homeowner overpaying on his house is not good for the homeowner its good for the banks
