Those "owners" come from different sections of society. Sure, some are born into that lifestyle, but others aren't. Actually, I've read up on him. His life has been nothing but "fame and comedy" so you see although he speaks the truth I don't respect him because he has no clue what any of it means.
The man is speaking the truth... can't deny that but he's a complete dumb ass for saying all this, yet he's a comedian... wtf does he know about long hard hours for shitty pay?
@TREVMAC44 I'm sure at one point in his life he had to put in long hours for virtually nothing. Calling him a dumbass for speaking on this issue as a comedian doesn't make sense to me. So what if he's a successful comedian now, he's still bringing up the subject with his pull in popularity to help others (people who get fucked over by putting in all these extra hours for shit pay). Thank you for saying he speaks the truth.
@TREVMAC44 Do you think he was a famous comedian since birth? He had to work shitty jobs and hours until he finally made it big. And its still a lot of work before having to write material, and perform like that. Think before speaking dumbass.
@whiskerbiscuits42 I read his bio. His life has been nothing hard. So,"Think before you speak dumbass." By the way. It's dumb ass. Your comment is invalid.

@DhrRepelsteel Well if you didn't know that in a capitalist country, big business people own you, tnd you call everything that goes against what you see in the media a "Conspiracy Theory" ,then you're the one that shouldn't be taken seriously, you just need to read history and politics to know that is all bullshit,
Start by repealing Corporate "personhood", i.e., that a corporation is considered a "person" under the law. MegaCorporations = profit without responsibility = money is free speech.

I can sympathise (and even agree) with some of the sentiments expressed here but to assert that the US government is just an elaborate guise for some higher body is a little too speculative for me - I sincerely doubt there's any substantial evidence for such a sweeping claim
@T800System Agreed. It's so easy to say corporations own and control us all, and always work towards the same goals. It's much harder to say that politics is a complex dynamic with a multitude of powerful influences with very different intentions. Carlin was a genius in many ways but if you ask me this rant is a gross oversimplification of the way in which society operates.
@phasmaster Yeh nicely put. In my eyes the problem is not that a few people "know" what is going on, but that nobody really seems to truly "know" or understand the world we live in. It's just too chaotic and complex... and lets face it for all our higher mental facilities and digital watches (HG2G ref there!) the way we are inclined to act on a day-by-day basis is one step up from monkeys. Flame away! If you think you can realign my perception then do your best; I will be grateful if you do
@T800System u obviously haven't read the history of this country of the past 100 years. go back to sleep and keep thinking the government has your best interest in mind....HAHA!!! NOT!!!
@T800System It's not a claim, it's a fact. Look at your fucking laws? Look at the administration. How many of them are ALSO working for corporations, and promoting their corporations through government?
@T800System The U.S fed is owned by banks, read a few books about it, it's true. There is alot of information out there, never heard of it? just prove's his point. It is ALL fake, that is why revolution is going to happen. The U.S is going to default. It's ALL bullshit. That IS the game he is talking about, they are the owner's, it is not hard to prove at all.
cite your sources. I've looked at a few sites about the federal reserve being privately owned but they all look incredibly partisan. Also, what "revolution"? I hope to god you aren't talking about Ron Paul.. lol.
@RastaLulz because the truth is a bitter pill to swallow and it hurts. people rather you blow sunshine up their ass and give them the good ole stroke job and bullshit lies. that's why these type of videos aren't popular.

what can you do? wait for 2012 with all the hippies? arm up with all the rednecks looking for a showdown? revolutionize with the minorities? get the training to be another cog in the system and have financial security?
go back 3, 4, 5 lifetimes ago and look at the state of the human race and look at us now. we're expanding exponentially in population and technology. What does the future hold for my generation? the end of the human race has never been more relevant.
We can free our minds....figure out who we are, what we are, how the mind and body connect and how they separate. How feelings and thought patterns mold our behavior and where those emotions and thoughts come from. How much of our thoughts are our own and how much are the echoes of mother culture.
If one can find themselves in the mental morass and bring that to the world through their body they will have awakened, and conquered death.
Indeed. Frustrating though as the process is not easy. Breaking old agreements, thought patterns, and behavior is not like flipping a swich. It's one thing to have some sort of clarity of thought in solitude, it's another to see that out in the "mental morass" of our daily lives. But I guess what good would lessons be if you never made the attempt to learn them? It just sucks sometimes. Getting caught in old sludge if you know what I mean.
I know exactly what you mean man. The way I see it the pattern so far has been oscillation between the clarity and the morass, in a sort of fibonacci spiral moving both inwards and outwards....each complete cycle is like the completed rectangle with the spiral inside and as the spiral continues a new rectangle is introduced, infinitely. I guess the thing to realize is each seemingly new thing is really the same thing, cause there's only one thing to begin with.
You know what's hillarious is that you're promoting this guy, and he was a hardcore atheist that specifically talked out against latching onto idiotic beliefs that others try to impose on you. That's what you've done. There is no mind outside the brain. Scientifically proven time and time again. Yes, you can have a high degree of self-awareness, and reprogram your mind based on your values/beliefs, and this may change your perceptions of the world, but this whole spiritual crap stinks!
@fromage282 I feel your pain, it's all true and fucked up, not just that but a whoooole lot of more things. There is a solution though I vehemently advise you to watch "Zeitgeist Addendum" and " Zeitgeist Moving Forward"
Armed confrontation is inevitable when you are dealing with sociopath junkies addicted to: money, power & war. The sooner Americans realize this the more mentally prepared they will be for this contingency. As for the armed rednecks, you can bet on it that either during, or after, the bankers & their fascist government are removed, you will have to kill them next. America has it's own radical religious elements that would love to institute a theocracy to enslave the population.
@fromage282 wait for 2012 with all the hippies? arm up with all the rednecks looking for a showdown? revolutionize with the minorities? get the training to be another cog in the system and have financial security?
well fuckin put young sir....how come they're always telling us "Do something" instead of "Learn something"...as if learning stops after high school/or college (pls dont point out the irony of that)
without resorting to philosophical (and geometric?? mos619) abstractions reply to your question in non abstract terms what can be done: is to en mass refuse to pay these coporations cut their profit and reduce their power base. Secondly we can en mass demand election of representative and responsible governments which are "transparent" enough to be scrutinised by the public without fear of propoganda and manipulation of the press. look at my next reply
However before any of these revolutionary movements can start you need to convince people to care. Why dont people care at the moment? Because firstly people in the west have it too good and secondly all our media is controled and censored.
Before any of these movements can happen we need the next step in our social evolution: uncensored and unlimited freedom of information. If you read interviews with julian assange this is what hes talking about.

without resorting to philosophical (and geometric?? mos619) abstractions reply to your question in non abstract terms what can be done: is to en mass refuse to pay these coporations cut their profit and reduce their power base.
