Stephen shouldve released this after hearing "Hey Stephen". What's up with guys and releasing a response years later instead of right after they heard it??

Adam Young responded about half year for "Enchanted". He made a cover of the song. Stephen released the response in 3 years??? Taylor wouldve not known that the guys she wrote a song for, felt the same way about her, so of course she moved on!

@thx4thvenom He was working on music with Love and Theft, so he couldn't really just release a song outside of what he was working on, and it wasn't a song they felt was right for the band. During the break between labels he finally had a good chance to release it so that's why he did.

And Taylor knew he wrote this song, he told her after she called him to tell him about 'Hey Stephen' and she had him tell her a line of it.

he released it now because he was always focused on stuff with love and theft, and while promoting that he couldn't just stop and release it, and they have a major announcement about a label coming up so he'll be really focused on that again so he knew if he wanted to release it he'd have to do it now...it's in one of the articles about it.

And it's not late, because when Taylor called him back in 2008 to tell him about the song she wrote, he told her about this one. It's only the public that is just recently knowing about it.
