There are some parts in the song second, like this for example: 5:37 that do remind me of something from Final Fantasy, maybe the mission song from Final Fantasy VIII or something like that... I'm not too sure. It's a very energezing beat so it would make sense.

That, because of song like this, that i'm happy to live, when i see the universe of touhou, and it's whole fanbase, i'm just happy to see such wonderfull music,fangame, story, for a game that are buyable only on net... Touhou is not a game, not a music genre... Touhou is a new whole world for me. You could though that i'm just crazy, but touhou is just perfect for me.

Every time I hear this song I think of my school project I used this music for. Which, coincidentally or not, was on Earhart. But back to the song. I love it. It's totally epic, and really puts Fires of Hokkai into a different mood. (The Cosmic Mind one also goes along with this comment.)

At first I wanted to write down the thoughts I had while hearing this.

But it would take ages to do that. I only can say that I could write two entire books with these two songs.

Both songs are filled with so much imagination a simple mortal like me could never have. I guess I could hear this for my whole life and I'd always picture something else to myself.

Of all the touhou arranges I have praised as epic, this has got to be one of the most incredible. In the first part it's almost like you're about to set out on an adventure in a fantasy land while listening to it, all the more so with that first picture. Almost Tales of like. Second is one of the most blow you away Cosmic Mind songs ever, and very boss battle like. Sorry to ramble but I thought I'd try my best to describe them, despite how indescribable the feelings it brings are.

Amazing arranges as usual. :D These are actually two of my favorites and it was great to see arranges of them. It's also quite amazing how epic and evil sounding the Cosmic Mind one is. Cosmic Mind is usually so peaceful (though this does get so peaceful at times), and Byakuren looks so evil in this picture. But Byakuren isn't evil. D: She's arguably one of the most good characters in the whole series.

As for Fires of Hokkai... I'm just amazed. I thought that no remix could match the original in anyway. Well, this effectively completely changes my mind about a song. Again. This is proof that anything can be changed, made to be completely beautiful, regardless of what the original thing is. Once again Emiya, thanks for uploading these awesome songs. Hmm. This arrangement of Cosmic Mind isn't only just good. It's so good that people will shut up when they think the original feeling or intent of the song is the most important thing. Great remixes like this are proof that a song can be flipped completely and can still be amazing. It still does have those calm moments the original had though. It's like even though Byakuren is fighting you with all her might, she still shows utter benevolence.
