    Back in the day Tarzan used "stretchy vines" to workout, but in modern times he uses rubber fitness bands :-)

  • Good to see you using bands,i like using bands sometimes. I find you get a nice burn after a workout! With the upright rows why do you cross the band? I would of laughed if you had pulled out the sign from the ground when you done the front raise!

  • I actuallty uses these excersizes combined with my regular routine as supersets and the pump and stretch is great. Good to see some new videos from you lee

  • Lee do you ever have trouble with muscle spasms? I find some exercise lead to instant trouble...I wonder if it's electrolytes or an injury...I avoid the troublesome exercises but it's one of the recommended one's to work the opposing muscles of the chest...like the first one you demo'd.

  • dont think he was being a dick a better question would be how do i work on my v-taper and avoid a thicker core? on your body part question lee i would say im more interested in compound lifts to keep the best results in the shortest time but i do get a buzz when my bench goes up but thats not really part but a move

  • That's pretty cool Lee. Got me thinking about other exercises I could do just with rubber bands. Fantastic when I'm travelling.

    My pecs. Not my favorite. It's the one i have the most problem with. I find it really hard to activate them. Its like my shoulders and arms take all the work and my pecs just stay lazy.

  • Hey Lee, Is it necessary to go to all out from the 1 st circuit cycle? because 1 minute rest is very little, I guess the loading has to be light enough so you just about exhausted at the 4th circuit cycle right? That means the first circuit cycle would be relatively easy, and not at maximum rep, right?

    It's just a general guideline, if you need more rest, take more rest. Just listen to your body.

    Front raises, reverse flyes, and upright rows alone would still be an awesome shoulder workout. You could even do some over head presses there as well.

  • Hey lee i really need you to answer my question. I'm going take 2 or 3 weeks off from weight lifting maybe longer due to my hands and finger being over used and over tired. What can i do during this time so my muscles don't get weak?

    You should still be able to do leg exercises, cardio, and ab training while you rest your hands.

  • instead of the reverse flys with the bands i like to do band pull aparts it hits the rear delts and entire upper back hard

  • @mmacl4ncy I know I am not Lee, but every weight lifter I've known has a rib cage like that. I believe it's from years of training. As muscles are used it opens up the rib cage.

    Maybe eventually, but you can get several years out of a good quality rubber fitness band. I recommend the ones from BodyLasticBands . com they are awesome.
