We can't move on. It is besides the short gameplay, the most realistic poolgame ever made, taking screwshots cushion bounce, etc. into the mix. Im a capable poolplayer, and the WSC games (although entertaining) lack in realism on many shottypes.

Got this game today on the wii, great fun and so so addicting its unbelievable. The commentary is so detailed to the extent that it tells you which ball you are looking at. The crows reactions are really good and theres all sorts of unlockables, you can customize your player and buy new cues. fantastic game, 10/10

Amazing i asked Blade if it would be out for the world championship and if not it would be out of date.

Another delay another disapointment with no demo in sight.

18th April to 4th May 2009 the world snooker championship starts and ends.

Will it be out before or after?

They still have to be unloocked. There are a lot more unlockables this year than before including venues, sponsorship deals, press articles, trophies, trickshots, challenges, coaching shots, waistcoats, cues and more.

The coaching modes are bite sized techniques and completing them allows you to upgrade your stats, so you can polish up on the practice table before a crucial match and improve your game.

Apologies for the delay guys, we are working around the clock to get the game finished to the highest possible standards. We have done a complete revamp for this years version, hence the new title and a lot of features have gone in. It has simply taken us longer than we hoped to polish it, but our goal remains to provide the best possible snooker experience... we're confident you'll agree it was worth the wait.

I think the game has been but back to September at the earliest. Also, I saw a screenshot of the game in which Mark Williams is playing a shot right-handed, but he is a left-handed player.. A minor glitch, I know, but realism is important.

I once experienced a huge glitch in WCS 2004. I once turned the game on, and realized that all the legends in snooker were there, in the game available to play. The legends were: Jimmy White, Joe Davis, Fred Davis, Dennis Taylor, younger Steve Davis and John Virgo. I was shocked, because this was the first time Jimmy White ever appeared in a WSC game. I restarted the PS2, and they weren't there. It was a rare glitch which unexpectantly happened. Ever happened to anyone else?

I wanna get this. I hope it still has all the features of 2007, I'm too used to that now. The "Real" mode looks amazing as well, 1st person view, walking around the table.

That's a lot of 147's! WSC Real is a stride forwards in every way, and as you say the new Real Mode is a great improvement. However if you are stuck in your ways in terms of controls, you can select Classic Mode from the options menu.

Yes the aiming aid and positional circles are still in Real Mode, with the addition of a new inspect guide which lets you analyse angles before choosing your shot.

Steve Davis is a legend. From what I've seen on the trailers, Blade have gone over the top with the realness of the balls because they look to shiny now. Tone down the brightness on them a bit

We are spending all our time polishing the game as a much as possible on all the different platforms to ensure the game itself is of the highest quality. We are looking at the posibility of a demo once that process is complete, but we can't say for certain at this stage.

a couple questions

1. has it been made harder to make high breaks by making shots along the cushion harder and making shots where the cue ball is tight on the cushion harder.

2.the problem with this game on XBL was people who would disconnect when you pot frame ball so the win dosnt go against them, is this sorted out in this game.

I hope the cushions bounce realistically on this game. I remember in WSC05, the cueball would hit a cushion at pace and reduce speed about 75-80%!! (As if the cushion was made out of wood).

Is this problem resolved in this game? (I have it on pre-order btw)

We're always working to improve the accuracy of the ball physics to get it as close as possible to the real thing. A lot of tweaks and adjustments have been implemented since 2005, including cushion behaviour.

Not sure it's conducive to building up a following on a format to make them miss a version - I almost missed even knowing there was a PC version this year as I stopped checking anymore assuming it was a console-only game now. I think Alan Sugar would have fired someone at Blade for that.

The PC requirements are not 100% finalised yet, as we are still compatibility testing. However here is an estimate (subject to change):

OS: Windows XP or Vista

RAM: Minimum. 512MB (1GB for Vista). Recommended: 1GB (2GB)

Processor: Min 2GHz Pentium 4 or better. Recommended: 3GHz or better.

Graphics card - Any that supports both pixel and vertex shader 3 in hardware e.g. Geforce 6000 series or better, or an ATi X1000 series or better.

DVD drive

Hard drive with 4GB of free space.

Yes new comments have been added, there's also a mentor who gives background and encouragement to upcoming tournaments and events for you. The commentary team is Steve Davis, John Virgo and John Parrot.

Yes we have made improvements to the commentary and there is a new feature which allows you to set the commentary frequency in options - so you can make them more or less chatty depending on your preference.

Glad you are looking forward to it. We have thought about putting kicks in, but our research has suggested players would find it frustrating and unfair if their shot missed because of a kick for example.

You can switch off the aiming arrows and/or positional circle for all gameplay modes, including online (except for the Wii version which works slightly differently).

I'm disappointed of WSC07 because it isn't such a challenging game like WSC05.I'm talking about the aiming expert,which was very difficult.I played a whole season with aiming short and I was very proud about my achievement.What should high skilled players do with WSC07?Snooker pro's are complete under-demanded.

The grey circle,which shows the final place of the cue ball,is very innovative,but why I can't disable that circle?snooker pro's don't need this ;)

All the different tables and rules sets are still there and yes the character create has been much improved. We have worked very hard to make improvements across the board and are sure you will be pleased with the result.

If you mean the positional aiming marker - yes the system is still there. The size of the circular marker is related to certainty of position... so if you put lots of spin on for example the circle will get larger, and the cue ball will end in somewhere in the circle, unless a second ball is hit by the cue ball after the object ball. We have put in the ability to disable the different aiming aid types if you desire so the system caters to experts and amateurs alike.

Firstly it's running on our new Infinite Worlds engine so the graphics are massively improved. Then there's Real Mode - the new immersive first person control scheme, improved audio and SFX, a new Dynamic Career System where your custom player gains a unique nickname based on your style of play and collects sponsorship deals as he becomes more famous.

There's a whole new coaching system, trickshots, improved character create and stats system and yes Gamespy on PC. :)
