actually, its not that dumb, if you attack his face because its the monsters weak spot, its a smart thing, and if you can dodge all the attacks with a sns or gs, but if not, its a bad idea

its called phantom mirage (im assuming its the maxed upgraded one, since it has purple sharpness), 1344 raw, defense+10 and 30% aff.

If you watch it properly, the blade does not shorten, but turns invisible =). Hence chameleos.
