  • Serena, Very insightful and inspiring. As a TG person myself I can relate to being alone. I hope I enjoy myself as much as you seem to enjoy being you.........Thank you......Karrenn

  • I came across your blog and enjoyed it quite a bit. As a dresser myself I can certainly relate. I do find it hard to believe you don't have a lot of friends...you seem like a wonderful person.

    All the best.

    Bradley.

  • u are one cooky bitch

  • why thank you

  • I was married for 10yrs . divorced in 2000, now have a son & daughter pre-teens , together most weekends , as far as TGBL, I think your right on the money , I'm alone and live alone myself . sometimes alone sux, and every one in my apt complex knows that I'm trans but they are are cool with it , soo yah thats it for me . TTFN .Ciao SIERRA

  • You know, I always wondered why there was a T with GBL...

  • No more being single your whole life ! <3

  • And now, you have me who gets you and understands you on every level! ^_^

I love you so much <3

  • I just came across your videos tonight. Your thoughts and ideas are very fluid and expressive. The potency of your wisdom and confidence is what keeps me moving on to the next video, and this one so far, is one of your best. Thanks for spreading good throughout the trans community.

  • You are very photogenic and opinionated, did you ever conceder a career in tv journalism?

  • No, the thought never crossed my mind,

  • Serena , i still cann't believe you are a T-girl . i mean , you seems completely REAl! you voice actually unlike t-girl ,like real girl!

  • Hiya, I just wanted to drop you a line on "being alone" ... and the consequences it has (eg feeling down etc) and say I wish I was as brave as you to come out into the "real" world instead of hiding my inner (true) self all becuase I am scared of being judged and also I know I would loose my job (Scotland is not TS/TG/TV friendly).

I wish you all the best and also wish I had your sassy gurl smile!

  • I don't respond often enough BUT you do a great job with this blog - - - I look forward to each chapter. Linda in Las Vegas ((~.~))

  • i liked your video, yo are saying a lot about how i am and what i use todo..thanks!

  • You seem like such a genuinely good person. I wish you all the best.

  • u talk too much... i mean.. it's kinda boring to watch someone talk thru 10 minutes. I like to be alone like you, wen everybody goes away, i can do crazy stuff like funny hair and sing around the house with the dog, and dance in the sofas... it's weird when you are 23. é nois!

  • Great vlog! As a gay woman that hates the word lesbian I totally understand what you mean about the whole glbtqi thing, being transgendered does not mean you are glbqi why does the world have to make distinctions anyway you're either a good person or a mean person thats the way I see it, I think you're great! wish I could go shopping with you we'd have a blast! love you!

  • Speaking as a TG, I completely agree on your views on TGs in contrast with the GLB folks.Very well said Serena.

  • AHH! The wink of doom! You gave the wink of doom at the end again! I'm going to die now! Nooo! I'm a little hyper. ;) Great vlog, cous! The reason I don't ask you to go shopping/cinema is poverty and laziness. You're an awesome friend! FLAME FLAME FLAME FLAME :P

  • HI Honey! Didn't know you were going weekly or I would have checked in sooner. The top you were wearing on this vlog was a great color for you. Do show us some complete outfits some time.

  • I did in my second vlog. There's not much to my outfits since I am usually just wearing a pair of jeans with what ever top I happen to be wearing.

  • i totally agree with you on the whole "t" being in there thing. it probably shouldnt be but on the other hand if they are offering some help i guess its not really that bad a thing. so although i know what you mean i guess its not really a bad thing

  • Meh, she deserves it.

  • Good job airing your sisters dirty laundry! :p

  • you are doing a good job love kenny

  • I'd also just like to say that (in my opinion) there is no better feeling on this earth than what it feels like to be a woman, the feelings you get inside and what you feel inside are incredible and hard to discribe but it feels so wonderful,

I feel sorry for guys, they'll never feel something like this, something this good.

  • I have watched all of serena's vlog's and they are all fantastic, can't waitfor the next one.

I'm a bit dissapointed about her parents reactions to her though, they should love her with all their hearts and minds, it dosen't matter that she's TG.

  • Hi Serena, So glad you are going to try and do a weekly vlog. If I was only allowed to have just three subscriptions yours would be one of them!

    Louise

  • Are you sure you arent really a female? You are truly very feminine and pretty and you have the spirit of a woman.

  • I understand why you would want to separate transgenders for gays, lesbians and bisexuals. But there are not as many trans people as there are gays, lesbian and bisexuals. It is important for the GLBT community to stick together to fend off prejudice. ^_^

  • If 'T" doesn['t go with LGB....then we are screwed...totally. So if you get a girlfriend you have sex with and you are a girl...then you are gay. Oh and if you have a boyfriend...with you as a girl...well most people will say that is homosexual behavior....so you see...T does go with LG and B

  • it doesn't matter what other people think, it matters what we think and feel about ourselves, besides I have met so many glb folk who WAY do not understand what it means to be a T

  • LGB may not always understand WHY someone is T but for the most part they are not going stand on our necks and call use freaks. Rather they will say "Hey Honey!" and tip thier glass..

  • Big cities have those types of support groups, but I really doubt that the majority of the cities on the map have them. One can hope, of course.

  • hanging out with a support group's better for me cuz it looks like the alternative is hanging out in bars, and sometimes when tranny chasers show up, it's a little scary. Love your blogs! YOU ROCK! Erica

  • I agree, when I was younger I wanted to be alone a lot so I could try things on, now I have a lot more alone time except for work, and circumstancial friends. I've started hanging with a support group, and that helps a lot.

  • OMG...I could listen to you talk all day.

If you talked about Chinese bicycle factories I'd still find myself glued to the screen.

You talk a lot of sense though. I know all about being alone...been there most of my life!

    Keep posting honey.

I'm already waiting for the next.

    Big hugs xxxx

  • Hi girl!

Another great vlog! Keep them coming!

One thing that was different about my growing up, is that I LOVED to go places with my family.

I did not dress until I was well into my adult years, since I had enough issues in my teens, without adding being a girl to this "evil mix?" (The world was much different in 1964)

Keep up the good work and BTW, I love that top and shirt you have on in this vlog!

  • I love being alone. After awhile I need to hang out with friends but most of the time I like to navel gaze. In high school my friends were the misfits too.

  • u have a very engaging personality luv listening to u............ life is full of ups & downs so stick @ it things will work out in the long run.........................

  • I'm surprised that you have few friends seeing as how animated you are. I have the same problem where I have 'friends' in school and work, but they're not coming over to my house or hanging out.

  • you have it right,girl!

you seem pretty smart for as young as you are.

Hang in there and keep up the blog!Let me know if you ever come to Toledo...we'll go shopping.

    Sherry

  • hello, I just love your hair and eyes, so feminine. I am glad you decided to do this as young as you are. It sure is more difficult to impossible to do it when you are older, and your grasp of who you are amazes me, I wish I had your courage.

    Tory

  • yes, i admit that homosexuality and transgender havent much in common, BUT such people there can help you nevertheless, because they have something important in commen with us transgendered. they are diffrent from the most other people and thats exactly what us both let come closer together.

btw, i like your blogs ;-)
