  • Very nice video ...and nice to see series Landrovers being used like we do

  • i fail to see a defender 110 in this vid only a s3 109.

  • @acetrucks1 Yes, that's true. I swindled a little bit with the keywords to reach a wider range of viewers :-) I hope you're not disappointed with the missing defender... :-)

  • @fixli81 i wasnt botherd really just pointing out something haha

  • @acetrucks1 Ok. And good luck with your Land Rover. I've seen your first start video!

  • @fixli81 tgank you ive just stripped it down and clkeaning the chassis up then its goin back together and then have some fun with it haha

  • When fat basturds go feral

  • @sneakyam ? What does that mean?

  • Great video, fantastic vehicle in a great setting. Well done!

  • What is the song in this video?

  • Looks like my Series III :)

  • Another question mate ... has your 109" a Diesel or gasoline engine... it`s sound like gasoline

  • It's a gasoline engine. Otherwise it wouldn't be able to start with the crank (1.36).

Land Rover 2.25 litre Petrol Engine specs:

    swept engine volume: 2286 cc

    power: 77bhp at 4250 rpm

    torque: 124ft lb at 2500rpm

  • Great Vid!!! Gotta love the old Landy!!

  • Man this is awesome. I have a SIII... thats now my daily driver after extensive repairs.. but not expensive :) way to go on the vid.. keep em coming!

  • Thanks very much for that, great video.

  • Great video, that 109" has it´s spirit !!, I have a Santana Series III 88" and i like tripping too. I have a question for you: What kind of cover do you use for wading (the white one)?? Is it water proof ?? and Do you disconnect engine fan for wading using that cover??

    Beautiful video mate !

  • Thanks mate!

The Cover is just a normal tarp which you normaly use for camping or cover baggage on the roofrack. It was waterproof. I didn't disonnect the fan belt.

  • Its nice to see veteran landrovers do the business, nice vid, thanks for posting

  • its hard to imagine more appropriate 4wd for a cape york trip! good on ya mate, awesome video! 5/5

  • thank you! Yeah the 4WD on the Cape was great and the old Land Rover did very well!

  • It's awesome to see a Landy doing what she does best!! I'd love to own a series model someday too! Thanks for the vid!

  • I've got a series 2A utility sitting at the back of my dad's place. 2.25 diesel, 10x 15" tyres, McNamara difflock in the rear. Deep Brunswick paint job. Done many trips over the years. Dad had it for 20 years, the I had it for 12 years. Just deregistered it 2 months ago. Needs the following; another tray, middle seat installed, seals on the steering knuckles and front hubs, rubber matting on fire wall to dampen noise, buff and paint job. Engine was only rebuilt 6 years ago. Good as new.
