hey there. i assume u haven`t been playing for long cuz u do have some problems :) u`r not holding the guitar right that`s why u can`t pick right with the right hand .guitar should be between ur legs with the griff poiting up , that way ur right hand has a better more relaxed position.That will also solve u`r left hand problem witch is that ur fingers should be straight on the chords not bent, that way the sound will be clear and u have a better spread . but overall good job ,keep it up mate :)

Don't be so sure. People seem to slack a bit in RHCP covers, as I've seen by the drum ones. I'm not a bass player, so I can't rate you, but it sounds pretty good. Flea's bass lines are just great to hear standing out like this.
