I have a 1994 Ski Nautique now equipped with Perfect Pass Stargazer. I would stick with the teak platform. It requires more maintenance than a fiberglass platform, but I think it is easier to keep it looking new after 1330 hours. I took some sand paper to it when I hit 1000 hours to smooth out some rough spots, and to prevent some minor splinters from starting. Does anyone out there have a Nautique with the fiberglass platform with more than 1000 hours on it? If so, how is it holding up ?
it's a hot boat, but I prefer the romance of a teak wood rear platform! personal preference... that color scheme is great and I think a nice wood platform would complement it well!
