What would you say if I wanted to get this as my first car for 40k or less all payed by me. I kinda live to race and I want a car with good handling and acceleration.
@jnmunsey Saw a barely wrecked (on test drive) GTR for sale for 35k by a dealership. New front fascia and it was good to go. I guess the dealership was retarded.
I'm still faster but thats pretty impressive for a car! I'd still feel safer riding a bike than a car! cars roll over and burn and stuff!

@aratidwell My new best is 1:54...still plenty of room for improvement if I wasn't concerned about wrecking a $70k car. :)

@jnmunsey I've still gone 4 seconds faster on a bone stock (minus tires) 600cc motorcycle (2003 yamaha r6 in 2003)

Cheapest you'll find a GT-R currently is about $65 minimum.
Best track car to start out is a Spec Miata. Also look into S2000, some 3 series BMW and and some older Porsches. These can all be had pretty cheap.
Cars are not insured on the race track so messing one up on the track could be very expensive.
