That's great getting young ones involved , there's no better time to learn about this stuff, I myself started around dax's age and no one made me I did this on my own and I still juice (never will stop) my dad thinks i'm insane haha only cause he's not the healthiest eater. One additional thing that may help with kids like him is to teach them to strain the juice afterward. Kids will often get turned off at the spinach and celery pulp that settles at the bottom. I double strain it and it's PERFECT!

Hey, I'm gettin into the world of raw food, and on my search for substitutes of cow milk, I found the almond milk, did and the result wasnt very good... the almond taste was waaaaay too strong, and every time I drink it, I have to go to the bathroom right away (you know... number 2), why? :( for now I'm using soy milk, the only supermarket substitute I can find, but I know these industrialized stuff aren't very healthy, better than cow's anyway... @Tallgirl83 You may not want to go onto a 100% raw food diet while pregnant because you will be detoxifying and you wouldn't want the baby to absorb any toxicity, I suggest going onto a whole foods diet for the first month and slowly integrating into a more raw vegan diet.But this is just my personal opinion.

why do you want apple seeds in the mix? don't they have cyanide in them? easy enough to core them first

@DanielManahan yes apple seeeds have cyanide in them however your body can nuetralize them in smaller doses. You'd have to eat 1/2- 1 full cup of just apple seeds for them to be dangerous. Thats about 1 bushel of apples (way more than anyone would eat). A few apple cores won't hurt you, plus you'll get a bunch of extra nutrients from the core you'd normally throw out!
