How to Build a 2 Tier Horizontal Dropdown Menu

I went through all 6 videos this morning. Very easy to follow. The problem that I am having is that none of the drop downs work - tier one nor tier two. a very nice blue horizontal navigation that changes colors on roller over but no drop down. I've tried it in both firefox and IE. Even while i was following the videos, the drop downs didn't work in Dreamweaver itself. I am using Dreamweaver CS5, version 11.0, building 49.09. any clue where I should beging to look?
