  • $1500 usd is certainly over priced, The brady rosegum blocks are on for $995 usd while sleishman jarrah block free floating are on for 899 usd, i wonder why fidock is so expensive, this price is certainly more expensive then a craviotto custom shop!

  • @mysteryunited Not 100% sure, but I live in Australia and Blackwood is an endangered wood species in high demand. Maybe that has something to do with it.

  • I have owned a Fidock 6.5 x 14 Blackwood for 2 years .. its awesome!

It covers every playing situation possible!

  • he loves saying black wood at the start

  • I don't think I've heard any wood snare that sounded this good tuned low. Amazing drum! Next time you talk to the company let them know their website doesn't work (weird error message, says "it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression").

Also a demo video with that 5x12 Sonor Birch Snare would be HIGHLY appreciated!! Thanks!!

  • Fantastic low tuning. Which bottom (snare side) drumhead is used and what is the tension value? Thx

  • Perhaps the only time I've preferred your highest tunings are these gorgeous fidock's.
