  • You and Jeff have a lot of quests

  • Man, if this was 1 second shorter...

  • Definitely can tell ur a lefty bro same here

  • Hey adam... to get ready for high school wrestling before the season started... what I did was extremely alot of push ups, situps and regular squats and box squats... on push ups I did the regular pushups (20), then what I call easy diamond pushups (hands in center like a diamond to ur chest not ur nose) (20), then the wide push (20). Then started the process over again and again until I got to 200 doing all three pushups every night. Worked very very good for me. Let me know what u think

  • Time for week 2 soon?

  • Quest to Diamond (Abs)

  • You got it dude! =D DDPYoga is fun to do, BIGTIME! Best of luck.

  • I'm really glad I stumbled on to this video. I've been having trouble motivating after the holiday lull in healthiness. Now I'm off to do some push-ups, Thanks Adam.

  • This actually motivated me too. I've gained about 5 kilos in the last 6-8 months. I made a thread on a forum me and a bunch of internet friends frequent to motivate me. Have been doing this for a few days now, going for walks, going to start jogging as of tomorrow. Do push-ups etc. for about 30 minutes daily (assuming I have time). Going to remember your push-up fatigue tip and just start working out! Thanks for the inspiration, Adam! Good luck on your quest to fitness!

  • Good luck in your quest to fitness.

  • whats ur favourite subway sub sir?

  • Adam, can you post your typical diet and exercise routine? It appears everyone wants to look how you look now, which is basically you doing what you did before so yea that might be cool to see. A before and after comparing routines if you have time.

  • brah i watch all LAGtv's videos (SRS). Check out the main video on my channel, brb aesthetic gamer

  • Tbh in my opinion (not that it is going to change much) you ain't in bad shape, you might be in "less than your optimal shape" but bad shape is the wrong word for it. I think you will easily and quickly get back in shape again dude. You would have cringed at the very thought of showing yourself on camera had you seen how much i have let myself go :P

  • oh and good luck!

  • NO MORE VICTORY PEANUTS?!

  • I will join you!

  • omfg, i went on a run after maybe 4 months of not running...i think i died, but then gandalf revived me and said my job wasnt done, so i finished, and will die shortly after this comment

  • Can you do a video on the excercises you do? im really interested what you do!

  • why everyone thinks that they lose wheight with any kind of exercise?

  • its called quest to fitness not weight loss common people

  • Have you guys seen Destiny's muscles? God damnnn

  • Everyone's "in shape" is different for different people. Much props to you Adam by NOT being satisfied on just your "looks" and being willing to push yourself to make yourself better across the board. Just watched both vids and I also will be starting a regular exercise regimen to improve my health and stamina (5'8" 220lbs) also weight loss. When I was in high school 10 years ago, playing basketball as well ironically, I was 170lbs. I hope to get close to that maybe around 185. Best of luck.

  • Just a tip, if your really looking to put on some muscle and getting in really good shape check out Starting Strength, Id deffinately recommend picking up Mark Rippetoes book and doing that routine. I started doing it a year ago and it has made massive difference, also have gotten several very out of shape friends doing it and they have made a ton of improvement as well. Goodluck getting fit!

  • I think it would be awesome if you recorded the workouts (don't know if you already planned on doing that) that would be possible for us to follow along with. My stature is similar to yours except with a bit less muscle, so I think I would benefit a lot from following your workouts. Please consider this!

  • You know - calling this out of shape is kind of a slap in the face to everyone working their ass of just to get to this kind of shape - and also to everyone who really are out of shape/fat and are trying to get in shape again.

  • @Novousify

Like I said in the video, it's relative. For some people, being out of shape is being 100 pounds over weight and not able to pick up a newspaper. For me being out of shape means low energy, low stamina, and lack of proper muscle for my boy size.

  • If this is "not in shape," I better need to get with the program!

  • holy lanky batman lol

  • lol, LAGTV must be the only gaming channel where the hosts are buff as hell :P

  • adam looks like TLO in the first "now" picture

  • I usually do push ups and squats, but I haven't for a few months now. Thank you sir for making me want to get of my skinny ass and get back into semi-shape!

  • Adam you dont need to lose weight belive me you actually need to train and eat you are really thin u need to eat a lot of meat. There is no need for you to train if you dont have musle to train with

  • @vojo4anime

Not concerned with losing weight haha. It's hard for me to gain/lose weight. I would have to try pretty damn hard to drop more weight than I have already. I will be putting on mass, not losing more.

  • @computerplayer1 well i will watch you quest to firness and see where your going good luck and have fun doing it aldo i doubt you will :)

  • adam why you have a hat on u in ur room?

  • I work out hard everyday and I don't look like that..........

  • You may want to do some shrugs for your traps. I admit they can look disgusting if they are super huge, but it'll make your neck stand out less, and make you look overall more muscly. Oh and I dont blame you for not having massive legs, their not so good looking..

  • @FlyinspaghetiMonstar they're**

  • Adam, I'm in the same situation as you well semi quasi. Used to work out much more about a year ago and over the course of about a year because of various reasons had to drop the exerceise regimen. I'm not a big guy at all im 5'5" I just want to be at a relatively fit stage nothing like going roid rage up in here how should I start.

P.S. I'm vegetarian so bulking up won't really be in the realm of possibilities or I should say not all too likely as I don't consume as much protein as necessary.

  • I will Join you ADAM

  • Man I'm forcing myself to get back into P90x, and I'm so glad I did. I really needed to get back into shape. My question to you is, what sort of "supplement: I guess you could say, do you use? Im really confused and don't know which ones to use. If you could give me some advice on which ones to buy that would be really cool. I wish you the best of luck on your workout journey

  • why are u wearin a hat INSIDE? :o

  • @BahamutEx Welcome to a Canadian winter.

  • @BahamutEx Probably couldn't be assd doing his hair.

  • lol seriously thats out of shape for you

atleast you dont have much belly fat thats good enough

  • You fit bastard :p

  • Stopped going to the gym after my winter break

Got off my ass and went back after this video (y)

  • started a week ago and struggling to continue

  • lol The canted camera angle makes me feel like this is a horror movie

  • Holy !@#$ how much could you bench when you were at ur top physical strength

  • Go do some squats and lift heavy!

  • Ok, so question : Would this work for a relatively poor student that doesn't like to spend a lot of money on exercising equipment? And when I say that, I mean generally using household items (ie no weights or stuff, and if I use them they'll prolly be homemade) and, of course, only exercising at home/jogging (generally not going to a gym).

I'm also thinking about hitting up the pool (they give cheap passes to students) because I love swimming.

  • @ninodoko If you're in reasonable shape already, go download p90x videos (there's plenty at sea). Then just buy a yoga mat and some resistant bands. Should cost you about $12 tops.

  • MY LIFE FOR ADAM!

  • Hey Adam can you make some videos of the exercises that you do, like weights, or stretching etc, watching this video before made me want to shed some pounds but i'm not too sure about what kinds of exercises to do to lose weight and build some muscle. If you could do that i'd be forever greatful <3

  • dude, how is this out of shape?!?

You sir, are a handsome young chap!

    no homo!

  • NowaWar - working out like a sir. :)

  • what is abaut last picture?

  • @vragoslav flexibility.

  • @TheWICHOness so no flexibility?

  • Wow, as a workout noob (Actually never worked out or tried to get in shape EVER) could someone please clarify what a ''Set of push ups'' are? also i heard you're not supposed to work out one part of your body too much, and you said 30 minutes, should i just do 30 minutes of pushups? because that sounds quite hard on the body and exhausting...

  • @Milkandcookeys What he said was that you do as many push ups you can, thats the first set, then you have a small break and do the same thing 3-4 times.

And i am not a pro, but your muscles need rest to build up after training so you dont over train one muscle.

Plz correct me if i am wrong.

  • @JPP9595 Your wrong

  • Damn, I'll hop on aswell. I'm fit, just dont look fit...

  • Have you ever done protein before adam to help build muscles, im looking into getting into better shape and was wondering if protein would be something you'd suggest / some excecises to build upper body mostly back, lats and bicep muscles. thanks :)

  • Nice use of Photoshop on that picture...

  • I am extremely inflexible and no amount of stretching seems to have any effect. The tradeoff is that I seem to have greater than normal strength for my amount of muscle which is rather considerable. I've been inflexible even before getting as much meat I have on my bones. I can carry about 400 lbs for short periods. I think I just have a genetic problem with my flexibility. my fingers will not bend back at all even with pressure. Let me know if you do something inordinate to increase flexibility

  • ok i think i also had to start again... your best shape pics really looks good and the day 1 pics.. yeah.. its simular to myself.. so i will join ya..

    so long

    rock´n roll

  • the homework assignment at the end is a good idea. you should make that a regular thing.

  • I'm working out too (trying to undo 2 and a half years of damage), just wondering how you tend to work out the chest area, because I have the most trouble there right now.

  • yo adam i have the same body type as you and also have lower back problems, so was wondering what you do for core/abs.

  • Nice vlog. GOOD LUCK

  • ok ok im off my bot

  • lol your day 1 is my gool hahahaha

  • @migelsker lol same here :p

  • i probably start some Exercise...

  • Every one of these pics were hothothot. 86% homo

  • I told myself I would fitness again, and then i see this in my sub box. THIS IS NO COINCIDENCE

  • Hey Adam just some questions, I Have some problems puting on muscle mass I don't have the best genetics but this is the workout I do 2/3 times a week, 1/2 sets of Diamond Push Ups, Normal Push ups, arms wide apart push ups, Stomach Crunchs, side to Crunches, Barbell wrist exstensions I think, And like back crunches, would protein shake help or creatine? I hear taking protein straight after a workout can help, also I'm 17 anyway any advise would help hope you understand my grammer..

  • this is your definition of not ripped??

  • Wow. You're about 3 weeks away from getting yourself back to where you were. Personally, I'm about 4 months away from it.....

  • THIS is out of shape for you? We must be living on different planets.

  • Omg. Those are some serious muscles xDD.

  • I have everything to have a good chest, I am just having problems(huge) with my abdominals and generaly my stomach, if I get a kilogram on, all the fat goes there, what can I do to maximise the workout there?

  • I'm gonna do tha same.

  • Damn man, you still got huge ass muscles! Bigger than anyone I know.

  • @Turai12

Double post yay, just wanted to say that I cant do a single push up! yay

  • Hi Adam, I am an 18 year old highschool student and I have never really worked out - I'm sort of skinny with a bit of belly fat, but nothing too horrible. Is it too late to start working out to get in some sort of shape? As someone who hasn't really worked out that much, what should I aim for? I already have a diet, as in my family we eat super healthy and I don't use any narcotics or such. Thank you for your time and attention! Also best of luck to your journey!

  • @LoLBattlecruiser hmm maby start out with running each day/once in 2 days, for like 30 mins and when your back try to do alot fo push ups, sit ups etc.

thats what im trying to do though ;) best of luck btw

  • @LoLBattlecruiser Not too late at all (almost never is). Your workout and diet should depend on your goals, what are you interested in? Ripped muscles, strong muscles or just lowering your body fat? Going for large, ripped muscles i'd suggest bulking up first (start eating more carbs and protein while training hard) and after you've reached strength THEN start cutting fat by running & such.

  • Hey Adam! I can't get big because my genetics sucks! I would like to become more flexible (I'm as much flexible as a stick!) seriously what can I do xD

  • That's an awesome idea.

  • lol dat actually motivated me right now after about a month of not doing any working out ( + just started working out) im going to eat and ill be off to the gym in 1.5 hours or so

  • No more victory chocolate? :(

  • thanksgivingchristmasdaynewyear

  • Youre not that bad in shape

  • Day 1 - Better than my day 4023

  • Micro your Macro T-shirt!

  • Hell yeah, wish I had your motivation and knowledge. My biggest problem is that I have no idea how to work out. I can do pushups and handle dumbbells, thats about it. Some tips on some exercises preferably with cheap equipment would be highly appreciated! Good luck on your journey, quest to bulk, day 1 lol.

  • Fucking hell Adam, you were ripped!

  • FOR SIENCE! WE WILL DO IT!

  • Also, any other ways to work out at home with no equipment other than doing the push ups you mentioned earlier?

  • @barrywu998 Push ups, sit ups, triceps dips and squats are all surprisingly good at increasing your general strength and fitness, for needing no equipment (just use a chair and a bed frame for the tricep dips).

Adam is very lucky to have a strong natural build and puts on muscle very easily, I'm 6'7" and never got above around 160 lb despite going to the gym and rowing a lot. Most people should focus on the increased strength and fitness, as the muscle will eventually follow.

  • Greek god here we come

  • YES YES I WILL JOIN.

  • Hey Adam. Awesome that you are getting back into shape after some time now. I've never been in shape, but I actually started 3 weeks ago ! Got a gym membership and I am working out twice a week with a friend of mine. I think that having someone to fitness with is a great tip as well. At least that's what i am noticing right now, since he is in better shape than I am, I really want to catch up to him. So I couldnt ask for any more motivation.

    Good luck Adam !

  • Its so nice to see another dude who has a dirty laundry couch like mine. I feel validated.

  • Dude. You are def not what you used to be but man you still BUILT as hell for a starcraft player. I mean seriously have you seen Desrow?

  • Cutting out refined sweets, but you can still eat natural sweets, dried fruit, raw honey, pineapple, dark chocolate 80+% cocoa.

  • For me a decent morning gymnastic "program" is enough. I dont have high goals.

  • Whatever you do, Adam, use the mirror to base your progress on, not a scale.

Oh and you're totally hot! Personally I wouldn't worry if I was a guy and was as fit as you.

But then again I'm not (a guy that is) so... =P

  • on my subscribe list it said computerplayer1 and i was like who the hell and when did i subscribe to this guy? then i saw it was nova war and i was like oh hahaha. just shows how long he has updated this account.

  • Dude, you still look a 1000x times better than I do. And I've never been that flexible. ):

  • I too shall be joining you Adam. I currently weigh 11 and a half stone. Whilst that's not terrible, I want to actually build up on muscle mass and muscle endurance, and maybe loose a half stone whilst I'm at it.

  • Squat til you drop!

  • I would probably kill to be as fit as you are in your current state....

  • Awesome mate. Keep it up.

Can you do a video with DDPYOGA?

  • talk less! work out more! :D

  • Adam, I just finished watching your "Quest to Fitness" video and, I too will be joining you guys, I'm tired of being pudgy (i'm about 220 pounds and just under 6 feet). When I first startedworking out in February of last year I was a whopping 280 but I'm at a plateu right now, and now I'm motivated to continue my weight loss with the fine folks of LagTV! I HOPE WE CAN ACHIEVE OUR GOALS TOGETHER!

  • Haha cool bro! I barely started working out last week, trying to do 4 days a week 1 hour and a half a day! It's hell!! I am so not used to it!! But gotta get healthy!!

  • How in hell did you manage to still keep your body looking that good after a year and half of not exercising?!

  • Can't wait till you and Jeff are JUICED :)

  • This is pretty interesting.. Maybe go more in detail about your specific routines on a day or what you follow to guide the people (like myself) who work out but dont really have a guide!

  • Your recent ones were not thaat bad

  • Whatever your goals are... good luck to you! Stay strong!

  • starcraft makes you unfit, ive seen it all in real life at MLGs, fucking horrible to look at that many fucked up bodies, straight disgusting

  • remember you morons, the human body is like an automobile, maintaining it from the start and you will last longer, don't fuck it up and hope you can get some easy fix without paying a huge price

  • Wait...so no more victory chocolate?

  • what are u looking for?

    wieght loss?

    muscle building?

    cardio fittness?

  • I just got super motivated, Gotta go to the gym tomorrow before class now lol.

  • funny, i started my personal "quest to fitness" 2 weeks ago. so i guess i have a little head start! :) im really glad that you guys take care of yourself!

  • I'll join in on your quest. Haven't really worked out ever since I moved and started my University studies. My 4.5 years of studies literally ended just yesterday (Monday) with my very last presentation. I will however not join in until tomorrow since I need to get this one day of being a lazy bum and recuperate some sleep - and tomorrow is February 1st, which is a good round date. I'll take your advices (joga etc) and additionally take progress shots, perhaps every week. See you in health!

  • lol where's dat flab at i dont see it.

  • @computerplayer1 Adam why you gotta start this right at the end of my wrestling season?! I won't have time after the season because of a new job I'm starting (though I'll try) and between it and school I will almost certainly lose my 9% body fat record that I currently have. I'm guessing it will slip to like 15% >:O Gonna make me feel like a fatty!

  • Dude, fuck you still look good. You did lose some muscle but shit. Still good. Definitely get those arms back and wrk on chest definition. Chest def makes a big difference. Check out Scott Herman on YouTube he is a fitness god, really good tips. GL HF

  • BTW, Yoga is good stuff. If I recall, one of my idols - Kareem Jabbar of the LA Lakers practice that and look at his graceful form when he does his trademark skyhook.

  • Basketball. I am pretty sure you can dunk with that big massive hands of yours. The big question should be... can you do a 2 hander? If you can, I need you to posterize me with something like "Sour about that facial".

  • Hey Adam, not even a Starcraft player (not yet anyway), but I've been following you and Jeff for months now on LAGTV, and I remember seeing those pics of you in your "prime" and saying: "I kinda want to look like that." I'm a skinny kid, Ectomorph, hardgainer, all that jazz. I recently began lifting in my college dorms gym (well equipped) and recently got out of the routine I had. However, seeing these videos from you is going to be an awesome bit of feedback and encouragement. Let's get fit! :D

  • squats are huge. Total body exercise. You seriously look completely different when you can squat 300 lbs.

  • still hotter than most man i know :$

on a more serious tone: I'm in my own "final push" in college right now and I can see all the bad things these last few years did to my body and I'm looking forward to getting back in shape again, I'm wondering if your yoga + rest is mostly based on just building up muscle or if it aims at losing weight too and where could I read more about it?

  • Ok fine. After watching Jeff's video and now yours you have convinced me to truly get going on getting in shape again. I'm definitely going to follow a route closer to yours and mainly focused on upper body. I was looking for a workout buddy and you may just be it. Thanks Adam and keep us posted and encouraged!

  • Compound lifts are your friend. Bench, Squats, and and Deadlifts.

  • Cleaning your room is a good work out

  • well, you still look like you're in better shape then I am. Especially on flexibility; I reach to about my knees and I'm 5'10"

But your dedication motivates me! Other than the fact that I want to be a police officer sometime in the coming years.

  • There is no way you can cut out CHEESE

  • I'll start eventually. I just need to start getting a semi-decent sleeping pattern first since my next semester of college just started..

  • Do some squats, king of the lifts man

  • I've been having major pain in my lower back/right shoulder as well as my right hip. Do you think stretching would help this? If so, where should I start? I'm 6'2" and I have never been very avid about stretching so that is probably my problem. GLHB

  • I just ate a shit ton of pizza today, but fuck it. I'll work out today. FOR SCIENCE

  • Hey Adam, what sandwich do you get from Subways?

  • Yoga + Adam's appearance + voice...

Are you, sir, the one of the main characters of Holywood Homclide? xD

Good tips. I'm working out actually for months, eating more but more ballanced and regular. This is for the good start and is hella effective.

  • GREAT! I think this proyectis great. I TRAIN (different than work out, you say "training" when you want to compete, thats harder than working out) 4 hours every day and have my personal goals too.

I only have to tell you PLEASE don't use any weightgainer crap, steroids or something like that. It will take you a little more time to gain muscle but your body and healt will be better.

  • Are you gonna stream some of this? If yes, date/time?

  • Dunno, you still look better than most people. Especially the back.

  • dude.. you look like a normal guy in your day 1 photos, instead of all beefed up like crazy.. maybe just tone up and exercise like normal to retain your fitness.

  • Damn strong genetics.

  • GLHF adam,

have you heard of the spartan race??

Keep it up, I'm getting back in shape too!

  • IM GETTING FIT TOO WERE FIT BUDDIEEEEEEEEEEES!

  • last comment on this video:

Do you know of any collapse able weight sets? cuz i really wanna get one but have no where to put it

  • Comment removed

  • that webcam has a pretty good mic

  • your eyes at 9:10 are staring into my soul

  • Push-ups are very good with abs exercises. I mean when you lie on your back and move your legs up. Please mention it in next vid.

  • can you vlog jogs around town?

  • Thumbs up if you just came here to see pictures of Adam shirtless.....

  • what if I do a cock push-up?

  • you look pissed off in the second set of pics

  • It's awesome you're holding yourself accountable like this. Just remember that fitness is a long process of working out, nutrition, and dedication. I'm starting my own way toward being more fit, and I know this series is going to help me a lot. You've got a great community here to support you!! Good luck and keep us in the know!!
