I do not make such a distinction, as both were written by men. It has too often been stated that the Talmud is horrible, but the "true Torah" is not. I was pointing out that the Torah is just as bad, being filled with God's command to slaughter people wholsale, enslave, kidnap, plunder, rape, etc. If, in fact, the Talmud includes a bona fide provision for the free choice conversion of those not born into the nation of Israel, then it would, in fact, be BETTER than the Torah.
