Its a HUGE step to make, you can lose your life in the operating room or have infections after the surgery, many obese people have kids and its a really hard decision they have to make. @RamboSuper13 Surgery does not have a absolute success rate (What ever TV might tell us.) In fact, the rate of surgery helping is quite low, perhaps becuase many after surgery still continue with essentialy poor diets, making the calorie restrictive nature of it irrelivant. (It's fairly easy to eat 2k cals of toffee in a day if you just idly eat all day, not so much with brown rice.)
So yes, it still requires will power, that and surgery is a big undertaking, a terrifying one too.

eat right and healthy and start an excercise program. The first 6 months will be the hardest until you make it habit and routine. YOU CAN DO IT. The best gift you can give yourself is a great body.
