@JPorkins88 my guess is since its for an unnamed gov't agency (see uploader comments) that everything had to be done legally, including driving on the road. it probably came from the dealer straight to the installer so therefore it has dealer plates. it will then go to the agency who purchased the car which will then put their own plates on it
If you're going to try and keep the guy's identity confidential, you may want to cover up the license plate next time. Secondly, its a 300C, not a 300M.
whats going to happen? he isnt doing anything illegal, and plus its illegal to run plates unless your law enforcement, you cant get programs that look up people like that.
yeah you can, the public information act, you can just go to the DMV and look it up, the only thing it wont give you is certain private info and any law related stuff (warrants)
Secret service uses them, I wanna say a federal sedan but those were plain jane state license plates so no a squad car i think. (plus it would have more lights)
Possible to be undercover although the "unnamed" gov't agency is more suspect that n e thing. btw I CAN SEE THE LICENCE PLATE. That Kinda "defeats" the purpose of the "secret" "undercover" detective car. On a side note, can never go wrong with the TIR3's on the back plate.
@brooksie3309 What a retard. It even says in the fucking description it's for a county DETECTIVE!!!! Nice job on the lights though. low profile but noticeable. :)
@sxtintrepid Custom autobody shops will only put lights on undercover cars, so this is obviously legit. I had a friend who tried to get a local auto shop to put lights like this on his car and they wouldn't because he was not a registered POV responder.
@sxtintrepid Read the description dumbass. Undercover cops and detectives do this. Volunteer fireman and ems personnel do this. It isn't illegal depending on what it's used for.
strobes didn't show up, it has strobed in the front fog lights, and rear tail and reverse strobes......the customer just wanted grill lights, wig wag, and traffic backers. We talked them into strobes and rear leds.
A Federal MS4000U undercover siren Wail/Yelp not a lot of lights but its nice to have something to break up the usual crown vic/expedition/etc. monotany
Nice install. "For Security Reasons," Well you left his/her license plate uncovered.

@JPorkins88 yea but if you look hard at the bottom it says "dealer plates"

@sta540rulz Dealer Plates? Then why would you drill 2 TIR3 mounting brackets onto a dealer tag?

Get a dash light. I have seen so many accidents happen because people do not see those damn grill lights. Dash lights make it way easier to see.

Strobes do not show up on video. Have you ever watched COPS and looked at a strobe edge bar?

Why in the world would u wanna look like a cop. Everyone will hate u..

Maybe because he IS a cop, it is an undercover vehicle for an un-named gov't agency

also the customer wanted nothing on the dash....super low profile I guess

Sad. Even a visor light would do that good and still keep things lo-pro. Still a nice install on your part. What kind of siren did you install?

Very nice. But it needs something on the dash or on the headliner. Talon or Slimlighter? But still a slick install.
